I couldn’t find the full line of code so I just started a normal game and replaced the whole file with the one from the normal game and it worked, thanks for the direction 🤗
Cheers! And nice. I made the mistake of just having my second playthrough as "Normal" Bit of a addict of starting new games. Take everything I've learned from the first to make/build things better. Its a bit to easy even on day 150. And its a bit silly how you only really need to eat one meat most of the days, and one day two. I did make a third game, made it harder, almost everything was fine, but man the food. Not sure what I put the food on, but it was stupid. Every morning I had to go drink to fill up my water and two dried meat, then RE-fill my water as only two meat's made me "You are dying of dehydration." One more dried meat to fill the food up. Aaand one last sip of water. Man, the eating needs just killed the joy in that custom so went back to my second game :p Again, cheers!

I saw a guide on the Internet and there just changed the file GameSetupSaveData.json with replacement with the necessary settings. I just did not understand what data contains SaveData.json file and what will change if it is not replaced? 2. I also don't understand why I need to change the UID, is it something to do with the progress of the character? I mean, if we just copy GameSetupSaveData.json with replacement without changing the UID, the progress will be like for a new player, so we need to change the UID? I'm playing on custom difficulty in multiplayer, I wanted to increase damage and armor to enemies. I would be very grateful if you explain these 2 points, just afraid to break something in the game)
I don’t know if this just happens to me but when I save my game with a custom name, the name disappears and it becomes a basic (normal, peaceful, hard, or custom) name
So i changed from the name normal to peaceful, and made a new lobby in peaceful mode. Took the save file from that, and copy pasted it into my now peaceful world.... There still are mutants and canibals. They leave me be tho :) so thank you bigtime
Virginia is gone? That’s a first. You can always download wemods and use a command to bring her back then delete the app if you don’t like mods. Other than that, if you created a backup save file, resort to the previous safe and do it all over again.
Did everything to go from Hard to Normal and when I go to save my game (which I call "Normal - Current") it reverts the mode BACK to Hard. I even verified that it does this in the GameStateSaveData file... Thoughts?
That is indeed very odd. I have a normal world, went from hard to normal with all my buildings and everything I play on and when I save it doesn’t do this. I’m not sure why it would revert everything back to hard. I’ve noticed some people start having trouble after the new update.
Thought i would put this here but i was changing from Hard to Normal and when i got the second save up to get the file from, i didnt revive kevin at the beach. After saving and moving files around like you said, i loaded back in (im up at the snow heli spawn) and kevin is now down at the beach where the other spawn is.... is this due to this file being moved or some other weird thing?

My files for GameSetupSaveData are quite a bit different from what you are displaying onscreen. (EnemySpawn) isnt even in the text. I cant get it to work. I'm trying to go from Normal to Peaceful.
Okay so, create a backup or copy of your normal world. load a peaceful game and save … copy the save data from peaceful and paste it into your normal save folder. See if this works. If this doesn’t, then I’ll see what I can do and what the problem is when I get back to my pc
I just tested and it works, You need to do exactly same as from x to customs in the end of the video, so. Make another save as peaceful, save and go to setup save data on both saves. Copy the original saves UID, and paste it on the Peaceful saves UID codes place. Now delete everything in the Original saves Setup save data and copy paste the peaceful saves setup in the originals. Save it and exit. Then go to the Peacefuls Savedata, copy it, and paste it on the originals file. Now you are done. When you go to play, sleep 2-3 times in a row and all enemies should be gone!

However, it change the setting and name of difficulty… it’s not same I compare the food values what you got when you eat for example MRE, from normal changing to hard it still give as normal difficulty. I don’t know how I could take a look for enemy respawn or other things about comparing to say more.. but what I can say food after change give same as previous difficulty
Why is this not an option for all difficulty. I thought custom just meant like they would have alot of armor/health. Now I want this but can't switch doesn't work for me to go from hard to custom. Edit: changed to custom but how do I change the custom controls if I want it to be harder?
Increase enemy's health, armor health and aggressiveness. Health just makes them, well have more health. Armor health means their armor can take more damage before being destroyed. Example. On Normal, if you headshot a cannibal wearing bone armor with the crossbow, he/she dies from the damage. But with more armor health they can survive that. Aggressiveness is how much they hate you. Scouting party's won't see you and leave. They will "always" attack when they see you. And they launch more attacks on your base, with more people.
@@WolfFireheart so I know what they all do as they tell you while hovering over it but what I was referring to was when I changed my difficulty from hard to custom in the appdata it doesn't give you an option when you start to set all those setting so I'm guess they are at default. I want to increase all to high/realistic.
Normal was too hard for me, So I changed it to custom, and made the days long, and the enemies less aggressive and now I want to make it harder. They need a bit of a rebalance I think.

Yes I havent seen her or the tracker. I am curious if she will appear and if the 2 guns I gave her will be with her or not.
@@Stoners_org-l1z i tested out. Virginia will re-appear but everything will be reset including the weapon/GPS you given to her
I think Virginia and Kelvin are saved in the file we delete.

Yep! The second method works, towards the middle of the video, where you have to change the UID and copy the settings over!
Cave mutants respawn after X days has passed.
Or if you leave and re-enter the game.

Yeah that’s the same for me. Did you try copying over the peaceful text into your save data yet?
I just tested and it works, You need to do exactly same as from x to customs in the end of the video, so.
Make another save as peaceful, save and go to setup save data on both saves. Copy the original saves UID, and paste it on the Peaceful saves UID codes place.

Trees cannot grow back if you cleared the stump and idk of a command that actually works in bringing them back, sorry.
