Thanks mate!
Fantastic Episode, with some great vision - not to mention the fish... Been thinking about doing the whole Boat camping thing at Mulwala for some time, you've inspired me. Cheers
Thanks mate, it was a cool experience. Definitely something worth doing
Great video mate really enjoyed this one 👌🏼
Thanks mate, was a fun trip up there
It is alway fun and exciting to do something new. Great video too.
Yeah, love getting put there and exploring a bit. Learnt a few things about sleeping on the boat and have a few future modifications in mind that will make it more comfortable and add some storage
Great footage and plenty of fish.Keep up the great work.
Thanks mate!
Really enjoyed that video, great fun to watch, heaps of fish landed and some nice ones in the mix. Makes me want to get a cod setup after watching that haha. Good stuff!
Thanks man, good season to be getting into cod fishing. Heap of fish around
Another great video, keep up the awesome work 👌🏽
Thanks mate, got plenty filmed from summer already so there is loads to come!
great few days mate, some great fish there 🎣
Thanks mate, was an awesome trip out there. Something I'm keen to do again
Glad to see you had a cracking time mate, a few big girls there but great to see high numbers! Always makes a long weekend worth it haha.
I saw a few big ones scoping around but decided I'd just try and get some runs on the board while its a bit warmer
Good to see ur back into the cod bud, done good in the boat. Never ceases to amaze me how big a lure a little cod will take. Watched them spit up carp half their size and large, very spinny, murray crays. Looking fwd to you landing that plus metery this season, maybe get to Burrenjuck for one of those monsters. Had a beer in a pub at Yass with a diver who was scanning the dam wall some years back and he reckonded he was "bumped" by fish bigger than him wen he was near the base of the wall, and he was a 6fter ?
Thanks mate, got a few more filmed just a bit behind on the editing side of things. Don't think I'm going to be able to get up into central nsw this year but will be putting in the time at mulwala and eildon once it cools off a bit
Exelent 🤙. Had an Ausspin spinner bait for a couple years as a kid and it was my go to spinner bait, like yours, it was missing a lot of paint on the head but still caught the most fish😂
Some nice green dogs, and yellas🤙🤙
Thanks mate, the spinwrights are certainly doing that for me. Caught more fish on them than any other lure so far this season!
Ok, I've never heard of Spinwrit love hearing of new brands tho, I'll have to try them next time I get the chance👍
awesome viewing 🇦🇺
Thanks mate!
🤙
You should put a soft plastic on your spinners mate I find it helps a lot
I deliberately didn't this trip to help them track a bit deeper. The plastic slows down the sink and makes it ride a bit higher in the water column
Awesome vid mate! Love the ease you’re flicking that set up with one hand, what combo are you running?
Thanks mate, the outfit im using for the spinnerbaits is an edge black widow bsr705 with a daiwa zillion hd and the topwater combo is a little heavier with the 666 black widow and a 13 fishing concept z. One of the big reasons I went over to the edge rods was to get something super light in hand to do stuff like that
Great stuff mate where did you launch boat
Thanks mate, launched at majors creek
Can anyone say honestly, how many times do you get snagged ? Good accurate casting but snags galore under the water, I get snagged heaps of times each trip.
This was a while ago so specific memory is a bit hazy but think I got snagged a handful of times for the weekend and didn't lose any lures
@@HawkesyFishing I guess I gotta keep practicing. My mate says losing lures is fishing tax 😁
I pay enough taxes already. .
Nice one mate. Love the vid as always. Where’d you put the boat in up the top?
Launched at majors creek and moved around from there
@@HawkesyFishing try the other side of the lake over near Collendina 👍🏻
What sort of boat do you have? Got any links so I can have a look? Thanks
Its a polycraft challenger 4.1, absolutely love it for the sort of fishing I do and because its a poly I don't need to stress to much about scratching it up. www.polycraft.com.au/410-challenger/
