Good video and with the helmet. Bunny hop, wheelie, ok, but personally, I think that balance and to feel yourself and the bike is most important at the begining. Standing on your platform pedals, almost without a move and try to hold the balance. Moving a bit, when you are balancing on the bike with your feets, bar and whole body, that is basis. It helps a lot further with everything.
Though i had a haro sice was a kid and biked till now, never new how to do tricks. Now at 43 or now that my kid is 9 we bought together 2 bmxs ( still have the haro though), so lets start the tricks😂 great intro vid. Tnx Ps. The only thing i cant figure out is the correct psi on the tires...
The frame geometry that makes dirt jumping easier, makes things like this harder. If you're just learning and starting from zero (or close to it), then it's not gonna matter a ton. Don't listen to people just throwing out their favorite brands as recommendations; that's completely useless.
Crazy I learned how to roll back on a free coaster. But my coaster engages sometimes so I automatically pedal backwards even when I don’t need to. I did practice a bit on a cassette and I think I got use to that. But I love FC way more
So I use to ride scooter and I would 360 to the left and 189 to the left but I’m left foot forward on a bike cause they gave me left hand drive can I still spin to the left?
"it's not as bad falling when you're young" i think this is a myth, over the years I'd say I'm getting better at limiting how injured i get when falling and preventing it in the first place - by only trying stuff I'm committed to and by envisioning the ways it can go right instead of how it can go wrong
Im only 11 and today at a open ceremony for a pump track they had a flatland bmx er and he taught me 5 tricks he also has a yt channel Yunka thomas you all should check him out
Bro the biggest thing i appreciate is that you wear a helmet even for these simple tricks. Thank you for setting the example
Thank you! It’s the smallest unexpected crashes that are usually the worst!
More dudes should have you mentality man, cool video btw!
Very true
Yeah
Safety comes first
So many other people are doing these videos with the same tricks, but you are one of the best at explaining how to do them
Thank you!! I notices as soon as mine started popping off everyone else started posting them 😂
just bought a bmx and just learned to bunny hop - thanks for the video!
I’m 63, and I’m so on this (but with a dirt jumper). I think it will take my mountain biking to the next level. Thanks!
Think you for the doing this I have a BMX ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤💯💯💯💯👍👍👍

So glad you protect your brain. Every other channel has people not wearing anything, even after they smash their skull off the sidewalk.
great vid man

Good work bro
You should teach us to do a cat walk
I like your explanations.
Please do a video on how to double peg stall a quarter.
Will do!
After learning the exact same thing on scooter and getting really good at it I think it will be pretty simple on BMX
Good luck

Bmx riders and their, "We don't like brakes."
Coming from mountain biking, we be putting some gnarly brakes on our BMX next summer!
Thank You for riding with a helmet.
Im really like to play this bmx bicyle..Im into mtb for now..ls it okay to start bmx freestyle at age 30?
Never too late to start!
I learned how to Smith grind as my first trick 😂😂😂 but I gave up on it now I'm trying to get back into it
So I use to ride scooter and I would 360 to the left and 189 to the left but I’m left foot forward on a bike cause they gave me left hand drive can I still spin to the left?
Probably
I like warehouse parking lots after they close there is just a ton of clean smooth concrete
I'm right foot forward but prefer to spin right🤔😂... Is this going to be a problem with progressing?
Damn that voice change from the 10 tricks 4 years ago to this one
Is there 23 inch bmx?
Yes
im firtst
Who cares
I like ths part you use your helmet when your about to shos us so ye thank you for the advice
I’m having a son and looking for a good future hobby for the family lmk any recommendations and details for a complete beginner
Congratulations! & For you or for your son?
What my dad told me was a bunny hop was both wheels and a j hop was was one wheel then the second
My first trick i learned was the wheelie lol
Is learning a nose manual in 1 day good
@@Lubbevr that would be pretty impressive to lock in nose manuals in just a single day!
@@sonnybikes i can’t do that long maybe max 5sec
Welp I guess it’s time to go break some bones for the first time ever 😂
im 0 years old and all my likes I’m older
You ride Chicago bars?
When doing the bunny hop, how do I get the back off the ground?
Just push ur arms forward
@@isaacmartin1584 Thanks.
i know it's late, but you also gotta scoop your pedal with your foot. try standing still, and just lifting the back end with your foot.
@@eliyazawa6921 thank you
YGWYL
You Go Where You Look!
well i got told how you learn to bunny hope is lift up backwheel first for bunny hope
Thanks for the help because I'm going to be doing bmx racing
what size is your bike
Now I need a bmx not a mountian bike.
Does breaking required?
I got a bruise the size of a baseball trying to wheelie 💀
SpongeBob icon fits this comment real' well
What is the size of ur bike?
Good thing ur wearing a helmet because Helmets are so important you could be riding just don’t a pathway but you never know what could happen

Im only 11 and today at a open ceremony for a pump track they had a flatland bmx er and he taught me 5 tricks he also has a yt channel Yunka thomas you all should check him out
I want to do that but I don't have a bmx bike🥺
Think
my bmx is 40 lbs lol
i still cant do one
sam sulek of bikes
I don’t get how to bunny hop
Lmao I'm the dude that still pedals backwards on a free coaster. I learned it all on cassette lmao that's why??
Hell yeah haha and sometimes if it works just do it 😂
First trick done was actually a bronco not bunny hop
Bro talkin about a j hop
Cant fucking bunny hop its killing me
Ya mum
"novody wheelies on bmx"
Lol. Uhhhhh.... Does this dude bot know how big wheelie specific bmx is?
@@Epiphalactic wheelie=sit down, catwalk=stand up. I would say not too many people are sitting down on freestyle BMX bikes doing “wheelies” lmao
Iam having a hard time with my bunny hop
Did you get it
I should probably get a helmet
Right
You deserved a subscribe man
