That jump WAS insane. His van looked extra sick with the make over tho. Got back yesterday from camping out in my van and had no service there. Not many people in my area doing any cool van stuff, let alone to many lifts. In my neighborhood people look at me like I'm Noah building the ark or something. Some of my family says "hey that's cool" But I can tell they think I'm a little weird but I don't care, at least I'm not stuck in the same place all the time
We are a different bunch for sure! I think lift kits get you away from the "creeper" status then little additions like off road lights start moving your van more towards that Overland/Camping/Adventure mobile look and the van becomes cool. In my experience it's more people driving non vans that like my van! Van guys in the wild are actually pretty non sociable.
I always joke around that most van guys that do do a little off roading go slow because we have drawers, tvs, fridges and microwave ovens bouncing around. You are the most insane van off roader ever! I need an excuse to drive a gutted cargo van and do what you're doing. Maybe I'll do Amazon Flex as a side husle and business write off a Lifted Cargo van!
Looking forward to the video on the ultimate kit. 99% sure that's the one I will go with. Being that I will have my kit shipped, it just makes more sense not having to return my old suspension for the core charge. Plus I think it just looks cooler lol.
Action Van sends you a label for the core if you go with the base $2089 kit but you are only getting $75 back out of the $175 because of the shipment cost of the radius arms. The Ultimate kit no core and includes a steering stabilizer so the Ultimate kit is especially worth it for out of state folks. My buddy in Florida paid $300 for shipping. Watching how much movement is in the rear of the Weldtec radius arm I think they should of went with a pivot. I'm just going over speed bumps and drove onto the sidewalk and it had that much movement.
You asked a question that no one has ever asked. Most of my viewers/friends who have went with Action Van go with the $2089 kit for the savings/getting their foot in the door of lifted vans. I have always said both lift kits improve the ride over stock and that's a nice bonus because most lift kits make trucks ride worse. I don't feel Weldtec is worth the price difference over AV having had both. They felt very comparable on ride improvement and of course we all want that lift to sit in the nose bleed section. Now your question is which kit is actually better take the price out of it. I think the Ultimate Suspension with Fox shocks has the edge over Weldtec. The base $2089 kit is really close to the Weldtec but the Bilstein 5100 as the included shocks for the base kit is a stiffer shock then the Foxs that Weldtec includes in their 5" lift. The Ultimate comes with Bilstein 5100s. For $300 you can Add Foxs just like the Weldtec and I think the Ultimate Radius arm is a better design then the Weldtecs. The Ultimate Kit with Foxes will be priced about the same as Weldtec. This is my first video from 12 years ago when I picked up my van from Action Van. No technical talk at all. ua-cam.com/video/n0mH2JTHEKk/v-deo.html I drove my AVS van for 7 years and this current van with the WTD I'm on year 3. It's actually enjoyable for me to study the differences in kits and that's why I filmed more of the Radius arm rear movement . Camburg is the other lift company and unfortunately it looks like they are phasing out their E-Series lift. I noticed they do a rear pivot on their radius arm like the AV Ultimate arm and not the stock style double donuts on the Weldtec arm. I have more footage but the one I shared here I'm just going over speed bumps and drive over a side walk before I stop. I'll do my best imitation of Engineering Explained when I complete this video.
@@JohnDrivesAnything Once I have all the facts, I will let you know which one I decided to go with. I’m also interested in your rear lock and everything else related in making it a highway/off-road vehicle.
Automatic rear locker + regear is around $2500. A selectable rear locker and re-gear is around $4000. If you can budget in $4000 selectable is nice because you always know when you're running a open diff for normal driving and locked for off roading. So normal driving there's no weird random clicking at turns nothing changes with a selectable when it's open diff.
Nice seeing you on the stream on Sunday man. The biggest I seen on a Action Van Lift is 285-75-17 thats a 33.8. Most people are running 285-75-16 or 285-70-17 32.8. i seen a few get 295-70-16 for a wider tire.
After the meet the contents going to get better. People want me to do more videos of my friends vans. It looks like the meet is going to be 15 at least potentially 30+ Biggest lifted van convoy ever is about to happen! I'll do a video on every ones rig. I'll try to do a live stream too. Appreciate the support man!
My friend with the Dually van put bigger tires and got a rear locker for his rig. He said a big channel in new jersey is going to feature his van. I'll share the link with you guys when I see it.

Very interesting
Jumps like that would shatter the microwave plate🤣. Keep spreading the lifted van content!
Microwave plates bouncing around, TV Jiggling in the mount, Blankets and pillows flying everywhere Orange Juice flying out of the fridge!
Another banger amigo. Enjoy watching your channel alot. Thanks for what you do for us.
Appreciate that man. Just want to see this hobby continue to grow. 2024 has been the most interest I ever seen for lifted vans.
That jumper has more skills and courage than I’ve ever had. I’d need to have Jack Daniels in my tank to attempt that.
Pilot Flying J lifted Van crew is me sleeping at there for the night. Pilot for this guy is frequent flier miles.
Thank you for the shout out you and Brook. I pray that you guys had a blessed Memorial Day. Stay safe and enjoy life. Amen
Hope you are doing great my friend!
@@JohnDrivesAnything I am blessed and doing great. Have an awesome day. Amen

Hey brother, what is the biggest wheel that will fit with the action van lift? Stock 16 wheel.
