Well, the knotty pine ceilings on the porches are nice. Hardwood floors are nice. The metal roof will sound wonderful when it rains. I hope they're happy living there.
I love the outside of the home and all of the windows. Deal breakers for me are covered porches (doesn't have to be enclosed, just needs a roof) and hardwood floors and lots of windows. I am not a fan of open concept, but I do not have kids, maybe one day I will and will change my mind but I can see why those who do,like it. I like to have privacy, I like to be able to retreat to a different room when I have a million family members visiting. I have a completely restored and remodeled farmhouse. It was built in 1880. I love it. I have same color floors, but my family room and living room are separate rooms from the dining room and kitchen. I do have a living area off of the kitchen though which is very nice for tv and entertaining. My wrap around porch has ceiling fans in the front as well as inside the screened in porch. I have a front stairs and also a back stairs off of my kitchen, I tend to use the back stairs more often, mine are not carpeted. I hate carpet. I love my farmhouse. Instead of chasing boys like all my friends in my early 20's, I chased after a house lol all worked out in the end, got married in the end.
Just a magnificent home! I wish I could get the floorplans without upstairs just all one level and I love the screened in porch for all the little bugs! Great work congratulations!
Nice home. One thing I do like about the home knowing the master bedroom is right by the stairs. It makes it easy in case something happens you need to get to you children. Most of the homes today is made so the children's bedrooms is to far from the master. People do not think when it comes to safety. Where I live we lost 5 children this year where the parents could not get to there children in time to save them when there home caught fire. Think Safety.
This house is lovely!! Questioning the bathroom, when entertaining guests will either have to go upstairs or use the master, there should be a half bath on the main floor.
First impression: The house looks beautiful, and the wrap around porch, I love it!!! Also, I love the metal roof!!! It’s both aesthetically pleasing and it’s best type of roof to have for the different weather conditions etc.

Hey Tany, I hear you, I really like the open living space on this house .There's definitely been a huge Trend towards more and more open Living Spaces in the past dozen years or so. However, I'm feeling like I'm starting to see the pendulum swing the other way a little bit as it always does. I'm starting to get more and more requests for floor pans that aren't quite as open :-).
Parents tend to want their bedroom to be a quick run up the stairs in case kids have nightmares, or when they're sick or, god forbid, when a fire breaks out in the house. I chose not to have children, but I'm old enough to know how parents think and what matters to them. Most homes are designed so parents can do what needs to get done AND also keep close tabs on their little ones. That is why open concept became popular...parents can fix dinner in the kitchen and watch the kids in the living, dining, or family rooms.
I agree I hate when the master bedroom is down stairs. I would rather all bedrooms be upstairs to be with my kids. For me the downstairs is the living area and the upstairs is for sleeping.
Not too bad! The upstairs seemed congested feeling for some reason or another but that's probably just me. Doors everywhere and a narrow feeling hallway.
Why is it no-one puts pot fillers? They are so nice and beautiful! Sink, Washer and Dryer hook up in the gargage for the dogs. Barn doors for the bathroom, needs character.
Very nice 👍🏽 I love the kitchen and Master suite. And the bathroom is the bomb. I would’ve just liked more bedrooms. Like around 5 bedrooms all together. But all in all beautiful home.😊
Love the screened in porch. I love that the ceiling is high in the porch area. Wow, a linen closet in a bathroom. Way to go. The power lines would have been a deal breaker for me. Nice home.
Just watched the video you are thinking of! unfortunately, @letsdig18 is some where around Raleigh, while we are in Charlotte. We love his work though!
I like how low the windows are. I would put my bed in the master on the solid wall and make the windows a nice large bay windows full of windows to have a couple chairs. Beautiful home. Don’t like where the stairs are - noisy in the master. No basement? A lot of nice things but a lot of things missing for me. Very well done
It’s my floor plan!! I have this floor plan hanging on my wall it’s my dream home plan. 3 more years of saving I’m so excited!!!
My goodness this is a dream. This meets ALL the requirements my wife has for our next house. Happy wife happy life! 😃

I love the placement of the stairs. I hate seeing the stairs as soon as you walk into a house.
Why? Stairs add interest to an entryway.
tameka finch idk why but the stairs are my favorite part
Perfect for people who have kids. I hate having my kids on the other side of the house with entry way near them. This is the way homes should be made.

Oh my. This is my dream house. I absolutely adore this.
I'm not a fan of the upstairs. But I love how open it is downstairs and the wrap around porch!
Beautiful home nicely done. We are looking at the exact same set of plans from searching the Internet. Nice to see the actual house in reality.
Where'd you find the plans? That'd look nice on the 12.5 acre plot that will be mine one day. :)
William DeCamp Love love love this house . What house plans are these?
Could you please add a link to the plans?

I can almost see my Malinois and my Doberman begging in that kitchen. It's a lovely home.
Incredible craftsmanship. A work of art!

I "liked" this video before you even showed the interior! I love a good farmhouse! So stunning.
The metal roof really does set it off!
Wow. Beautiful workmanship.
How much a sq ft or price for that exact house finished?
Great looking place that looks very well built!

Also loving the metal roof. Gives the house character. Personally prefer more defined living spaces in such a large house. It is a beautiful home!

I love this! Just not the placement of the master at the bottom of the stairs. But this house is pretty big and gorgeous

@@le_th_ you said it! My thought was, "if you've ever had a teenager, that's EXACTLY where you want your bedroom to be!"
I agree I hate when the master bedroom is down stairs. I would rather all bedrooms be upstairs to be with my kids. For me the downstairs is the living area and the upstairs is for sleeping.
A stunning, but simple home!
Not too bad! The upstairs seemed congested feeling for some reason or another but that's probably just me. Doors everywhere and a narrow feeling hallway.
I love these homes I wish people would build them on a nice 3 acre lot tho with beautiful property
Beautiful thanks for sharing
Why is it no-one puts pot fillers? They are so nice and beautiful! Sink, Washer and Dryer hook up in the gargage for the dogs. Barn doors for the bathroom, needs character.
I absolutely love this plan, but I want the smaller version built.
Beautiful! Who are the 32 people that thumbs down
This house was built on the old hughes house lot. It was an epic shootout 10 years ago. It was crazy.
Looks great just need a half bath placed downstairs for guests
What a beautiful home !!!
I need a 4 car so my trucks fit, a raised foundation with hardwood floors. I would do dark green trim & Roof! Beautiful! Just beautiful!
Beautiful home

Very nice 👍🏽 I love the kitchen and Master suite. And the bathroom is the bomb. I would’ve just liked more bedrooms. Like around 5 bedrooms all together. But all in all beautiful home.😊

Love the screened in porch. I love that the ceiling is high in the porch area. Wow, a linen closet in a bathroom. Way to go. The power lines would have been a deal breaker for me. Nice home.
What was the cost to build. Beautiful home.
Letsdig18 is doing the driveway! That’ll be the best part about the house.
Just watched the video you are thinking of! unfortunately, @letsdig18 is some where around Raleigh, while we are in Charlotte. We love his work though!

This is such a beautiful home! I would love to know the overall sq ft and the measurements of each room.
This is gorgeous! Really beautiful. Love the layout!
Absolutely gorgeous! I want one exactly like it, except on one level.
This is my dream home
My dream home. My own South fork mansion.🤠
That's stunning.
Arvin Brown a lot of houses in the south are typically not built with basements!!
I would do the entire roof in metal because those shingles will need to be replaced
Wouldn't it attract the sun more and the inside would be hotter?
Love the outside, so far so good!
Beautiful but needs bigger island posts, different office doors- barn door etc. and I know floor stain is a personal choice but maybe a touch lighter?
Gorgeous! Beautiful work❤️
Love this house, there's no basement?
The only bathroom on the first floor is the master bathroom?
The house is beautiful.
Does it have a basement or no? Also is there a 1/2 bath on the main floor for guests?
Que casa mais maravilhosa!!
Parabéns pelo trabalho!!
Simplesmente a casa dos meus sonhos!!
Beautiful home
Need a double garage straight back on the driveway for a shop or classic cars. Needs to be high enough to put car lifts in to double stack the cars.
Is there a guest bathroom on the first floor? I didn't see one.
Inside finally starts at 3:20...
Hi there, I love this house. What color is the granite in the kitchen?

How much does something like this cost to get build? I always thought of buying land and building
I really wish that i could move out of the Bronx, New York. 👍👍🇺🇸
no first floor bathroom?
The place is lovely only one thing would stop me buying a metal roof on the porch, when it rains the noise from the rain hitting the roof is awful!!!
Gorgeous!
Stunning house
It's LOVELY!
I don't know how this ended up in my suggested videos but damn! Awesome job on this house
I love this house plan! What's the specifics?
