Let's acknowledge that the Breakfast Club has been taking a lot of leadership recently, bringing topics like financial literacy, politics, banking, shopping black, and entrepreneurship to the front with their interviews, hosting Stacy Tisdale here, and Angela Rye and Gary V at other times. Many respects for what they're doing because it is very needed and long overdue.

I love you, I care for you, and its a lotta people in this world who give a damn about you and who will help you and support you. don't get caught up on all the "no's" its a lie. you are great. you are wanted. and you are valued. put God first, faith first. prepare for success. and listen to the wisdom wherever you see it.

Elektrik BuzzedOmoi is right though black and brown unity is myth. Trump isn't even the worst president this country has had. Wait till trump actually does something drastic then start dissing. I hate every president but I'm still wondering where trump has actually said something racist towards black folks compared to what other presidents have said but even worse. Paranoid goons that's why I'm neutral this country is a joke.

john ayacko man I feel you on that. I guess I just think talking about something so long ago might as well just be a fairy tail. We need to find more current wealthy blacks to talk about. But the crazy thing is, it seems like the ones that get money out side of being a rapper or ball player don't resonate with the youth and most of them act like they don't want anything to do with their own race.

When I worked in the financial industry they taught us how to advice potential investors and our steps where 1-Objective (What is the invest for) 2- Time (when do you plan to use the investment/funds) 3-Risk level (What is your risk level...from daring to cautious) 4- Other investments/funds (Is the money your only investment or do you have others) 5- Now Choose. The biggest problem with black Americans is debt. In order to effectively invest so that it works to your advantage, is to clear debt first.

I started with $5 deposit every payday. Older timer told me it was not about the amount of the deposit, it's about the habit that comes with the deposit. That habit amassed enough over a 15 year history with pay raises, better jobs and side hustles, to pay for private school, college, homeownership, savings and a comfortable life to this point for myself and my daughter- both of us. It can be done. I earned $5.00 per/hr in 1987.

Jewelry and cars can be good investments. But cars are long-term investments. They have to become classic(!) cars. Buy the first generation of the Porsche Cayman now for 20k or the first Cayenne for 10k and wait for 15-20 years. I think it works for Tesla as well. If you have the money, go for the first generation of Tesla cars, do not drive it and just wait.

True story my mother asked me why I our phone bill was so high. So I login into to her account she got 3 phones and 3 active tablets. Each tablet had insurance $13 a piece and phones 1 phone 3 tablets $ 52 each tablet had the $15 plan = $45 plus tax . Long story short I cut all this off saved a cool 150 a month $1,800 that's a good start to investing ( Follow Suit)
