the positive cable from the battery to the tipm was so loose i could wiggle it and turn the nut with my fingers. i went through so much pain not knowing to look for this electrical issue. no question to me it destroyed my ac compressor, alternator, starter and many sensors. been a pain but i think i have it under control finally
My jeep has been honking and locking at random for years. Now everything is going bad all at once… just found out it’s all linked to my TIPM. Wish I would have known earlier.
What about a radio issue where it sometimes come on with a red theme and sometimes blue and front camera doesnt work?… i have a 2021 gladiator rubicon
Yeah brother have a 2001 Voyager that was running fine ,bottomed out and stopped running ,checked under hood tipm ignition fuse was blown ,replaced it and started right up & blew immediately!!!
check for resistance at your ground points. corrosion!

My 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited developed a problem with the TIPM in the 1st week in July. I ordered a replacement from Chrysler. It is now the middle of September. I spoke to the parts dept at the local Chrysler/Jeep dealership. He told me it could be another 2 months before it becomes available due to this item being on back order!! This is BULL💩!! Last Jeep I'll ever own!!

That’s not a Jeep. Jeep died early 2000’s. Buy an XJ or older grand Cherokee. Anything with the straight 6. Those are Jeeps. Indestructible, quality vehicles.
2016 Jeep Wrangler ... After a left hand turn .. traction control light and check engine light came on and loss of throttle response power ... towed it home behind the RV ... after 3 hours of being towed. Fired up an everything seems fine other than AC and aftermarket Radio not working... threw some Can Bus codes
Was it the tipm? I have a 2012 charger with a bunch of electrical stuff flashing including canbus
Spend $2k of replacing the starter because of the TIPM. JGC 2012
Here is what we see, while driving dash resets then a couple various things, either total dead or lights and horn flashing and no other electric working ! Can fix it by disconnecting battery for 10 sec then reconnect

I bought a used 2017 dodge challenger sxt plus.
It had 35,000..i drove it for 500 miles and it died.
Its been at my mechanics for 1 year.
He thinks the TIPM is bad. He ordered one and thankfully its on its way.
The car began having dash lights coming on by itself at 2 am. Its done this several times recently.
He started in the trunk testing every fuse, the battery, altenator, starter, battery, terminal , and he began to get erratic readings when testing the tipm and bcm. I asked him to replace the bcm and tipm. To play it safe.
He has a limited staff and searching for a short isnt easy. So he thinks its the tipm.
The car had someone fishtail into the front panel where the TIPM is located. Always a chance the impact messed it up and over time it just crapped out after i bought it.
Fingers crossed.
The original issue was:
I started the car, it didnt turn over, check engine light came on. Then it turned over and ran perfectly. It died at work 8 hours later only to then have the dash lights trying to come on when i tried starting it.
The car turned over, ran perfectly to mechanic.
The battery either drains very slowly and then he charges it up, or it completely dies overnight..i pray a new TIPM and reprogramming fixes everything 😅
I want my baby back so badly i cant stand it.

My mother's 2015 is having issues. She wiggles the tipm box, and it starts. Did you just replace the box? Did it help?
I have a small problem with my 2010 jeep wrangler, the back windshield wiper doesnt work, but the motor is good i checked it. The passenger doors don't unlock after they lock, i have to open them manually. The biggest problem is the battery has a 3 amp drain, i suspect its the tipm, I checked a bunch of fuses not all and pulled out the tipm.
I have a 2013 dodge dart sxt and it cranks, but no start and ran codes shows no comunication and when I check the power source on my tipm some of the fuses on the left side don't have power. The fuses are good. I was going to replace the tipm, but when I got it loose it was all hardwired in any suggestions?
Did you ever find out what to do since yours was hard wired

My fuel pump used to make plenty of noise then when it rained the sound wasn't as strong and my fuel pressure was at zero. I couldn't tell for sure because when I put a test light to the fuel pump and put it into start position the test light turns on for a few seconds and shuts off after priming. I would hate to replace my fuel pump and get screwed over again.

I have a jeep wrangler jl 2018.. the dealer said my power distribution center is fried(pdc) is this the same as the tipm???
Try the canbus or high fuse array first
I have a town and country 2012 what if all your light work but u get a tick when u try to start it and you have the electric ⚡️ light I replace the throttle body

Mechanic just replaced my fuel pump and oil pressure switch. Two days later while driving my traction control went crazy, windshield wipers turned on by themselves, turn signals wouldn’t work, tire pressure sensor came on, could not put it in park, couldn’t shut off the engine and couldn’t get my key fab out. The shop is telling me that they can’t figure out what’s wrong. Do you think the TPIM could be the issue? Have you seen or heard of this happening before?

@@inournature5163 it was actually my alternator. When the battery drops below sufficient power everything starts going crazy.
Its just a fancy reincarnation of the 90's models IOD problem, with more steps.

I’m having loss communication to bcm and low voltage codes and manufacture codes
I’ve been experiencing stalling while I turn my wheel dead right, engine just shuts off but starts right up, check engine light comes on, OBD reads P0335 I changed the crank shaft position 3 times still the same thing
I’m having the same problem. Sometimes my Chrysler 200 Will drive fine for a whole day hours and then sometimes it just randomly shuts off while I’m driving like if I put a load on I’ve noticed. Sometimes without a load it just shuts down. I have a new battery and a new alternator. I don’t understand what’s going on.
@@Bonbonbon739 All the same exact issues. I have replace my alternator my fuel pump my sensors and several batteries... Still no crank no start almost everyday. Also my horn keeps randomly blowing & radio has static also. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
@@Gawddess I kept having the problem and I had to go to the junkyard and replace the TIPM. That’s probably your best bet.

@@Gawddess yes it did. Mine was having all kinds of problems for months actually. And then finally it kept going into limp mode nonstop TCM low-voltage code. I went to the junkyard and got another one from the Dodge avenger. That was the same one. I plugged it in and it worked perfectly. My car is fine now. It’s really not that hard.

@@calebrodriguez5542 I found out my ECM went out on my Chrysler 300C that's why I was not charging I put a new alternator in but a new battery and nothing worked after I have the computer checked that's what my problem was
@@billbaer5838 you end up buying a new Ecm or try getting it reset? I’m nervous mines a ground issue or ecm. It’s currently sitting at the dealer until the 14th to figure out what’s next
@@calebrodriguez5542 I put new grounds on I put alternator and starter in new battery finally put a ECM but I do have to put another alternator in it took the one out thinking it was bad replaced it with the old one and the old one will not charge full charge so I'm going to put another alternator in and I should be done

How to fix Tires flashing light on dashboard,
One or more of your tire pressure sensors probably are not working. Tire shop can scan each wheel and tell you which on is bad. They can also replace that tire sensor. (Not really something you can change on your own)
I have the 2007 jeep commander, nothing come on with key in ignition, its totally dead, does anybody have that problem
When my 14 Ram diesel 6.7 Dies the starter push button goes black and yes at that point I have NOTHING but headlights 4 ways,,,,, but takes now 7-10 minutes to start back up mine is soooooo bad,,,, I'm gettin TIPM soòon
