Awesome build and episode. I was just wondering if a three speed tranny would help take the load off the motor a cruising speed? I enjoy your channel and look forward to the next.
A trans will work with electric of course. But the "instant on" torque curve kinda goes against the need for 3 speeds. A 2 speed, think "normal" and "overdrive" will probably give best results. Sure would be curious to find out!
This was probably one of my favorite videos you've done. I'm not one to comment often. Love all the informational videos but this was such a chill experience. It was very enjoyable man. Definitely keep up with the normal type of videos but you should try to do some more cruise videos. Would really show the longevity of the builds and how manageable certain setups can be. Only thing that would have made the video better would be some rumbling and popping of an exhaust in the background lol Anyway, I look forward to more great videos. Take it easy man.
Loving your vids! Reminds me of just a few years ago around 2019 when I actually had spare money to spend on mini's. Things are so tight right now it's use what I got or go without. Trading is the only way I can get into more expensive parts in the current situation.

I have a 2005 Honda Shadow 750 roller, no engine no harness. I'm installing a 10 HP 20ftlb tq diesel engine. I also want to install an electric motor and make it diesel electric hybrid. Not sure what size motor or battery to go with. I have a 10 mile relatively flat commute to work. Ideally I'd like it if I never had to plug it in to charge the battery. With a full battery and a full tank of fuel, drive on electric till battery gets low, start diesel engine, run on diesel and recharge battery with alternator and 12-72v step up module. Any advice would be appreciated

This things sick! Have you ever possibly thought about wiring up a solar panel to charge the battery? Idk how feesible itd be but thats the main thing stopping me from building one. Im starting to get the appeal of these now though
