You misunderstood the first version of Thanos, he wanted equilibrium not total domination, that's why he didn't care if he destroyed the infinity stones, weakening himself. Thanos 2.0 was the one who decided to destroy everyone

@@mrrhythm5711 Timelines are differentiated when 2 separate events happen simultaneously. Who knew? The moment the Avengers go back to 2014 that's a NEW 2014, therefore a new timeline. A timeline in which Starlord doesn't find the infinity stone as well as Nebula, Thanos and his whole crew disappearing from it. If the Avengers were to go back to that 2014 they would find no Thanos or his entire army. It's a separate timeline and a separate Thanos. Main timeline Thanos knew nothing of IW Thanos' journey to achieve his goals before a literal separate version of Nebula to the one he knew was brought on board. Again, something that didn't happen in the main timeline which is a separation. On fact they created a THIRD timeline in which the ancient one met Bruce, Loki escaped and cap fought himself. Then ANOTHER one in which Tony met his dad and they took Pimm particles. I know the time travel is wonky at times but Back to the Future not only explains this in an A, B, C format, they literally SHOW it. Martys parents from when he got back to 1985 in the first movie are NOT his parents from the original 1985. That's because he skewed the timelines in the past. The exact same thing happened here.

Thanos could have easily won if he just killed all the heroes who stood in his way, rather than just throw them around. He would have acquired all the stones and achieved his goal much faster, preventing Endgame from happening

    I got another two:
    - Up: Have the Dog Pilots shoot the balloons of the house. During the climax, Charles Muntz orders the dog pilots to shoot down Carl's house, but yet they aim for Russell hanging on the hose instead of popping the balloons to knock the house out of the sky completely.
    - Tangled: Change Rapunzel's birthday. Mother Gothel successfully kidnapped the baby Rapunzel and manipulated her for 18 years. Clever plan, except if she had told Rapunzel that her birthday was on a different day than when the floating lanterns are released annually, Rapunzel wouldn't have connected the dots and discovered the truth.

There are consequences when you travel back in time. If Harry from after finding out that Ron's rat was the wizard that betrayed his parents barged into Hagrid's home with the past selves of himself, his friends and Peter Pettigrew, the temporal consequences could have been vast, unpredictable, and terrifying to think of, which is why Harry was strongly cautioned **AGAINST** interfering with the past. Did you guys WATCH The Terminator? Skynet couldn't have gone after baby Sarah Connor because it knew nothing about her other than her name and that she probably lived in the greater Los Angeles area shortly before John Connor was born. That's why the T-800 killed all the other Sarah Connors in the phone book; it didn't know who it was looking for. Going back 15, 16, 17 years would mean increasing the potential places she could be, and thus the number of Sarah Connors it would have to kill. Even Skynet would know that one Infiltrator couldn't have a hope of killing every Sarah Connor west of the Mississip.

Considering the fact that Skynet sending back the single terminator to kill Sarah Connor in the original movie "ACTUALLY" ensured it's own existence!

There would be nor arm in any previous timeline, hence nothing to reverse engineer.

TBF to Darth Maul, that scene makes no sense. if it wasn't for plot armor, he would simply force push Obi-wan into the pit while he was hanging there instead of slashing stupidly with his staff. What he does has zero logic behind it, so it has to be plot armor. I do love the fight, but the ending sucks and as a whole, episode 1 is a massive failure.

You see in the prisoner of azkaban nothing changed the outcome of anything that happened throe out the movie.
