  • The annual New Mexico Pilot's Association backcountry airstrip work weekend was a huge success!! We made significant improvements to the Rainy Mesa airstrip and got it whipped into operational condition. Always a lot of work but also very rewarding! This video includes a number of passes down the runway in both directions to provide some perspective to folks that would like to visit the airstrip.

    Wow, spectacular video, stellar flying and a great commentary, thanks for posting that! I still can't believe how unbelievably clear your video is, amazing resolution! Especially enjoyed your takeoff with your photo plane right there catching up, that must have been wild to coordinate, but loved it!

      Hi Dale - it is a 160hp Lycoming O-320 with a Sensenich GA ground adjustable propeller.
