This track is featured on the band's 2002 CD, "Old Roots, New World" (Shanachie Entertainment). Videography by Jeremy Mangan.

    Is this also known as Ma Yofus ( How Beautiful) ? I remember singer Joel Grey singing this on an early record he recorded called Songs My Father Taught me in Yiddish had some excellent songs from him singing just excellent and this was one he sun in english

      Yes--it goes by many names. It was originally written (I believe) by a Polish Jewish composer who titled it "Der Rebbe Hot Geheysn Freilech Zayn." But that might have just been an evolution from a previous version.
