The Chassidic drinking song Yoshke, performed at Maxwell Street Klezmer Band's 30th Anniversary Concert on November 3, 2013 at the Old Town School of Folk Music, with all 28 past and present members of Maxwell Street Klezmer Band as well a representatives of the Junior Klezmer Orchestra. Is this also known as Ma Yofus ( How Beautiful) ? I remember singer Joel Grey singing this on an early record he recorded called Songs My Father Taught me in Yiddish had some excellent songs from him singing just excellent and this was one he sun in english

Yes--it goes by many names. It was originally written (I believe) by a Polish Jewish composer who titled it "Der Rebbe Hot Geheysn Freilech Zayn." But that might have just been an evolution from a previous version.
