    Hi I'm from the Philippines. 65 yo. Still interested to learn more. Coz, I studied hula when I was in my hi- school days. I follow you and your warm.ups everyday as my way of excercise, and still am able to do them quite well.... thank you....

      Hola, yo también soy de México y quizá te pueda servir mi consejo sobre dicho paso. Básicamente tienes que poner sobre el suelo tus rodillas y la parte dorsal de tus pies; ambas piernas un poco más separadas que a la altura de la cadera. Luego, con la espalda completamente recta, trata de bajar hacia el suelo lo más que puedas sin que se arquee tu espalda ni bajen primero tus glúteos; para esto haz fuerza en el abdomen y glúteos. Si no puedes bajar mucho, está bien, hasta donde puedas siempre y cuando tengas una buena postura; poco a poco podrás ir bajando más.

      yes, look up ke kai o kahiki. Originally Hula was danced by men.
