One of the best solos I've ever heard. Guitarist is awesome and the guitar too. I am still thinking about buying this HB because I love David Gilmour ;)
You have chosen a radius for the fretboard that is too flat. Which has nothing to do with either David Gilmour or vintage. Personally, I don't prefer a radius of 7.25, but neither do I prefer such a flat neck. So why not compromise and make a radius of 9.5? Or at least make two versions. Personally if it had a radius of 9.5 I would have bought it already, and I know many guitarists who think like me and who would have done the same. I hope you take what I am telling you seriously. Think about it seriously. Greetings!
I got my third Harley Benton last week, which was Harley Benton St-20mn Ca Standard Series. I bought it because it was cheap but also because it look very similar to that Fender Stratocaster what David Gilmour and many others have used.
It's the first time I see Michael going smooth, I mean, not being disrespectful but we always see Michael shredding hard and fast which is also cool...
I know it’s a “budget brand “ but can we get this guy some pants without holes in em?? At least for video shoots? Excellent playing Michael 🤘🏽way to emote!
Will Harley Benton ever build higher quality blues harps? I mean for busking the cheap ones are just fine, but I'd actually stay loyal in studio sessions, though as of now I have to go to Hohner harps for those. Please do something, marine band style harps with Harley Benton on it, that's what I am dreaming of.
On a telecaster the centre of the bridge pickup should be the same distance from the bridge as the first fret is from the nut. On the te52 it is not, but I did see a photograph of a broadcaster where the bridge pickup is in the same place as the te52..
It is heavy, but it is the one I like to play most. I prefer it over the fender. The bridge pickup is closer to the bridge on the Harley than it is on the fender.. The higher density emphasises the high end, but, because of the bridge pickup position the high end volume is lower, 'per pick up' on the Harley. I doubt that matters because the alnico puts out more than the ceramic on the original fenders.
@@charlotteglover2159 my comment is clear, flaws of the guitar like cheap pups, pots, tuners etc. The reference to awesome playing skills are obviously directed at Mike. Hope my explanation was helpful and clears things up for you.
No I did understand but I have 5 Harley Benton guitars and also have some vintage and custom guitars that have high end parts. But my go-to guitars with the cheaper parts are the HBs. Years ago before Ibanez and Aria came into their own that was true but company's from china ,indonesia, and other asian countries are making unreal products that rival american. I personally love my benton's.
@@charlotteglover2159 based on your initial reply it indicates you didn't understand. That being said, Hb has improved and I think their upper end units are worthy.
Purchased: The bridge saddles move after just half an hour of testing, obviously need to be replaced. I didn't have time to test it with a low setup so the 5th string can go down, at the 2nd fret, no more than 2.2 mm as long as it vibrates exaggeratedly, even though the pure plastic nut is still high. Noisy electronics that require shielding and phasing. I wrote to Thomann, they are available for the guarantee but the guitar must travel at my expense. The conclusions are yours, for me it's DIY. It would have been enough to just spend a few euros more and leave David Gilmour alone.

Wow !!Really cool ..😊
Thank you! 😊
This was an nice guitar with some special sounding pickups.
An nice tribute to David Gilmours expensive guitar, "Blackie".

Nice axe. Sounds good. By the way.....your knee was showing.
Yes it was
Why you don't make more traditional looking S types with hardtail bridge? 😔
No… that’s not a David Gilmore! 👏👏👏😎😎😎
You bypass the flaws of this guitar with awesome playing skills, but for the price it's a very good guitar!
What flaws are you talking about.
Mike is a well rounded player

How about st59?
Am I wrong or earlier models had a "yellow - vintage" neck? I heard and it seems new models have satin light necks...
Very nice Roger Waters inspired tune ;)
Thanks so much Simon!
👏😀👏🎸
whats the name of the music?
It's an original form Michael written specifically for this video!
If the construction is of the same quality level as the ST-62VW (wich i own) then this is a flea-market bargain and a monster axe.
St 57 and st 59 are the same?
The 57 has a graphtech nut.
I really want sc 550
