Wow, prince of egypt came out when I was born and it's one of my top 10 films of all time! I just got the art book for it last year. Those early 2000 DreamWorks animated features had such an impact on me and my friends, what a great episode 🙏🏻

It's so much inspiring Story from Mr. Baltazar. I'm pumped. Working on personal project is very important for mental health I guess. I try to publish at least one issue of my comics each year. It' s satisfying and at the end of the year I can say I have something of my own beside my commercial jobs.
THanks for sharing Romel!

@@artdepartmentpodcast Thank a lot Emnanuel and Jan! Your work and your great episodes inspires me a lot!
love love love this story, thank you to armand for sharing. I'm currently focusing more on the craft and striving to feel like a capable craftsmen. I'm not too focused on art just yet but I feel I'm nearing that phase where I'd like to create a world of my own. And I'm grateful that I'm enjoying this current process of just making something, going through the motion of it, the craft. I think if I didn't, and this was just a means to and end and I didn't enjoy the process, I wouldn't feel motivated to reach that point where I'm comfortable enough with the medium to express myself and make it look good. I just wouldn't be able to reach that point.
Its so hard to find something you enjoy doing. Great you have that and let nobody take that away form you! :)
That was a wonderful story to hear. Thanks again.Great work guys. 👍
