I’m doing some stitching from my magazines this year, too…I found myself flipping through them a month or so ago and realizing that there are so many great options in the magazines that become parked on the back burner and forgotten about. I hope you left room in your stitching schedule for one of those flyflaps! I intended to start that Sweet Wing Studio "Let Us Adore Him" piece this year at Christmas. My fabric had not arrived to stitch it last year, and I wanted to do it this year. I know I'll have trouble seeing the dark green fabric though so put it off yet again. (Also I was really close to a finish on something that I really wanted to finish in 2023 so I did it, and then Susan released "Indescribable Gift," and I had to stitch it. I kitted it completely from stash so there were a few substitutions. I really enjoyed seeing the projects you selected from magazines. I really need to take time to choose some from magazines to stitch. I just need a chunk of time at home to do it!
Welcome back .. and good to hear you survived the plague!! 😂 I traveled from FL to IL to visit family for Christmas and caught something similar as I was sick practically my entire trip there and even more after I got bk to FL. Loved all your finishes and seeing your WIPs. You definitely got a great head start on your 12x12 items. I didn't stitch much that day as still wasn't feeling well & then I had to work on New Year's Day so no NYs Start then either. Finally making up for it this weekend as I've been stitching away & catching up on Floss Tube. Was happy to see yours pop up! Have a great week & happy stitching! 😊

Nice idea. ❤ I plan to do an ornament a month this year chosen from my magazine/vintage stash. We’ll see how that goes. 🤗 My overall stitching plan for 2024 is to begin one full coverage piece and work on it throughout the year, one sampler to work on throughout the year, one medium per month (probably seasonal) and one ornament per month. I also joined the Fabulous House SAL with Annabella’s. And, I’m doing a friendship SAL with my table mates from the Stitch New England Retreat. I am doing the WIPGO board with the Floss Bossin' Cousins so its a HEFFR board lol! I also knit and crochet and dye my own yarn so I am allowing myself 5 days to stitch on each square that gets called and no free space since I am so new and need all the starts, lol. I'm glad you love in the cosmo, however I've been using nothing but sulky white on 32 count and DMC floche in white and black. It's one strand, comes on a bigger skein and it works wonderfully.

Apparently I have trust and control issues and worry they will get me the lamest things that I’ll have to pretend to like 🤣 This year I did a list too for the first time and they did a great job. They got me the Rachel Ray meatloaf pan and if your family likes meatloaf, you must own one of these. They are amazing!
