Croke Park Stadium is not the national Rugby stadium, but the national Gaelic Football stadium. The Brazen Head is hailed as the oldest pub in Ireland, but Sean's Bar in Athlone was established in 900 AD.

Im a dub myself but i cant deny the real beauty is in the countryside and the people just as friendly if not friendlier. Slainte from ireland and that was a very enjoyable video and it is good to hear a different view other than just an Irish one.

@@dabbleandtravel You said something about catching a game of rugby in croke park no rugby isn't played there apart from 2007 to 2010 when the rugby and football/soccer stadium was being rebuilt .Gaelic football and hurling are the sports played there exclusively ,they are the national sports of ireland

My family is from Mayo in the west None of my younger cousins and relatives live there anymore they all live in Dublin and a few in Cork. But since lockdown they re-discovered how beautiful Ireland is because they are all doing staycations.
I think lots of people are doing staycations at the minute, we wish we had time to explore more 🥲🧡
the white pudding is made with pork fat and pearl barley and obviosly herbs and spices. you should check out cork too, its our favorite place in ireland. the people are so lovely in ireland.

Good video and it was very informative you had very good knowledge of the city despite being a tourist, but I have two pointers, Croke Park is the home of the GAA, which are the games of Gaelic football and hurling, and the biggest games in each sport are played there. Also the Brazen Head pub is Dublin's oldest pub but not Ireland's oldest pub, that is Sean's Bar in Athlone

I have visited Dublin on Halloween period and stayed at O'Donoghues Bar, 15 Merrion Row,
Dublin City, which is in the city centre. I really enjoyed and love the temple Bar. I flew by Easy jet which was a very short flight. The Guinness was awesome and the best. Thanks for sharing Awesome video

Awesome video of Dublin, there’s so much more to see, the Jameson’s whiskey 🥃 tour is great, Croke park tour, just across from where you where staying also.. you actually get to walk on the roof of the stadium 🏟👍🏻👍🏻

They don't usually play rugby at Croke Park. It is usually hurling and Gaelic Football played in Croke Park which is a huge stadium, over 80k

Really a great vlog guy's of my city Dublin brilliant job the drone footage was awesome mat i wouldnt have flown my dron there in the city as im using the mavic pro 2 so it weigh's almost 2kg but i know ur flying the light weight dji drone, all those bar's you were in including the church bar ive been in for a few pints and the Guinness store house ive also done that tour + the jamason whiskey brewery across the river is sapposed to be a great tour but as you said you have t book in advance so one of the day's ill make a vlog of the jamason brewery later on this year anyway guy fantastic job you guy's did to show dublin, so as they say we will catch you in the next one.
Make sure you do, we'd like to see the Jameson Tour! We didn't have a chance to but hopefully next time!

I’m Irish living in Dublin . Apart from Guinness what else did you enjoy. Dublin has more junkies and homeless than any other small city. Don’t be deluded as you’ll be disappointed .

never been to Ireland my wifes been to dublin as she went to the script concert and she loved it she recommended me to go the next time but wasnt sure but to be honest after watching this video i think i will recommend coming to dublin and going to the bars and places that are good to go to like the Guinness distillery and the nice pubs and try the amazing tasting Guinness loved your video and the christmas trip looked really nice to go to in a bar and see all the lights and the atmosphere

It’s €6.95 for a pint of Guinness in the temple bar pub. But pre Covid it used to go up €7.95 when there was live music on. But it’s the best place to go if you want a crowd during the day.

@@BrigataUPG Of course Dublin is not everybodys cup of tea. No city is. I like it a lot, the culture, the music and the nightlife. A lot of immigrants living in it, so it must be doing something right. I don't think i would live anywhere else. Lived in New York many years ago, thought it was great, but i always wanted to come home.

I dunno...but I've spent my full 64 years living in Dublin and love my city and country...is it only me that finds it a tad sad that (while be generalised and cartooned as a nation of drinkers) we are best known for our pubs and for drinking. Guess it's only me!

@@malahammer we do have an unhealthy relationship with alcohol in this country, sadly. Cause of so much family misery, domestic violence, child neglect, poor decision making, and health problems. Unfortunately that doesn't always square with the romantic image of having the "auld drop". :(

@@dabbleandtravel You’re very welcome. If you ever get the chance, I think you’d love the west of Ireland. The Cliffs of Moher are really beautiful and the caves are brilliant. Or, you can get the ferry to the Aaron Islands. The Burren is so beautiful and so completely unique. Have a google of it and see what you think. Ennis is the main town, it’s lovely, though Fanor Doolin Ennistymon Lahinch lisdoonvarna are fantastic spots to stay if you’re exploring and want to be closer to the beach. I’m new to your channel and I really enjoyed watching you guys.

I love Dublin! Another place close to home you may not have thought of is Glasgow. We have an award winning 17th century brewery right he,to to a hip Indy brewery as well as amazing architecture, pubs, restaurants and shops and museums. Also the greenest city in Europe with lovely parks and the river Clyde, 40 minutes from the amazing loch lomond.
When you go to the next time definitely go to the Jamison distillery really lovely the way they do it.

@@jgg59 John, it is just that if you go to a brewery or a distillery it is much better to see the process. There are a quite a few distilleries in an around Dublin, or in fact throughout the country were you can see the whole process.
