You are a true gentleman mate, as a long haul driver myself, I don't know how you do it, it's bad enough when we leave our family away for weeks at a time but to say goodbye to immediate family overseas, that's tough. Hats off to brother.
Good to see you enjoy your holiday with your wife and family. Being out of your routine would be strange, and getting back to the same old , would also take a bit to settle in again. So grateful for everything you do for our country. It brings everything into perspective when I go shopping. I only helped my brother and his mate out for a few days at a time on long haul. I mostly did yard work and local deliveries and helped keep them on the road, minor repairs, assisted with servicing, tarping, and lots of ropework. Stay Safe buddy. ❤
Ummm,… coming from America,I’m not sure,… Australians going to America for work is a bit of a headache I’ve heard,… might have to do some research mate, see what documentation is required.
Wow that was excellent as usual. People have to get behind Ken. Share these videos as they are so awesome. Good to see you back but sad to be away from the family after a few months.
Yep I agree, both Ken’s and your videos too are underrated. The quality of the camera work and different angles etc have really taken them up a notch. There are some from the states and UK with a gazillion views that aren’t a patch on you guys
Welcome back Ken. The sacrifices you make to give your family a better way of life means you have to be in a different country makes it hard on everyone. I liked the Phillipines stuff as you called it. Thank you. Be travelling with you for another 9 months. 👍
Hi Ken. Lovely movie photography. I got a bit emotional when I watched the blessing of the new home. I miss the happy smiling Filipino faces. I will have to wait until Xmas to see them again. By the way, you probably know that the Shell roadhouse on the south side of Narrabri was renovated and re-opened. It is sad that you have to leave Joy and your lovely home to once again be the Homeless Trucky. Safe drive mate.
Glad you enjoyed your well deserved break mate. Glad your back mate now we all know what you sacrifice for family back home. Enjoyed the home vlogs too mate can’t wait to see more of your adventures kudos to you Brother!
Hi Ken, Firstly congrats on your 15th Wedding Anniversary. My wife is a Filipina and she comes from Dumaguete, we were married 16 years ago and we live here in Bendigo. We have a house in the Philipinnes which we stay at when we go back. You are doing a great job mate, stay safe always.
Welcome back Ken, been loving the videos of the Phillipines and seeing how that part of the world lives, can’t believe people would pinch ya stuff, if your in Brisbane and you need anything give us a yell - I’ve got a whole heap of stuff in the shed that doesn’t get used anymore but keep for that just in case moment. Anyways keep up the great work and good to see ya back.👍👍
Welcome back, Ken and looking forward to seeing you back on the road again. Thank you for letting us share your family at home in the Philippines. Love and respect to and for you all.
Welcome back mate 👍 thankyou for sharing your home and family with us to and been mentioned before true gentleman 👍 No looks like we need to make a wanted post for one grey famous towel and two pillows 😂 Looking forward to seeing your next projects
Welcome back to Aus, Ken! It was so nice of you to share your Philippines family life with us, over the past 3 months. Really enjoyed seeing the country, your home and the sites there. Best wishes on the road, and look forward to travelling the highways virtually through your lens and seeing some more places and enjoying some more history lessons in Aus! Take care!
I really loved being shown your life in the Philippines Ken, it was a privalige and it helped me understand how hard it must be for you and Joy to be away for so long. I wish you well my friend and hope you have many safe trips ahead of you. May your next 9 months fly by.
just a few lines... "trucker ken is back again.. he's chasing the k's again.. his boss is pleased... to see him eased.. into his job again.. his wheels are turning.. as Kelly's churning.. awaiting the next truckstop ... I'm sure there's many that will agree... his expertise just flows with ease... that's plain for all to see.. ..but country 's waiting.. no hesitating... back to the road again... ( great to see you had good family time Philippines ken ..welcome back..)
Good to see you back at Work Ken, although hard to be away from Family, as always Like watching the Vids, one comment, mix a little skew, Music is quite loud and had to keep turning it down and then turning the volume up to hear you speak :) just a fine tweak, although good also be my 65 year old ears :) Quodos
No,… I have to work on that,… I edit everything on my phone because I just don’t have time to do it on the computer so the volume is difficult to get right
Thanks, Ken. I've clicked on most of the 'thumbs up' so as not to repeat what others have already written. Looking forward to your trips as they happen. However, I'm saddened that fellow workers have stolen some of your personal items no matter their value.
Welcome back Ken, and thx for sharing your family with us. Totally agree ..very strange with towel. Go get yourself a big fluffy one, keep safe and slowly get back into it.
Great video!! Enjoyed the Philly segment with the family segment. Glad you had a good break. Really appreciate your honesty about your journey. Fabulous music to the video. Safe travels. Cheers from Bowral NSW
Kenny , looking forward to hearing your music and chatter as you cruise up and the east coast . Happy anniversary old boy and Philise , I will have some prayers back on the road again !
As always Ken leave is over way too quickly..stay safe on those long haul routes..pity about the towel someone was desperate but I have always enjoyed your down to earth videos..bet Lindsay’s ordered that new Kenworth as soon as your flight touched down..all the best
That 3 months flew by. Seriously thieving bums stealing ya grey towel lol. Thanks for taking us along for the ride back home, was very entertaining indeed. Now back into it. Looking forward to the next video mate. Stay safe out there on the roads and oh Happy Anniversary
Glad yr back. Watch every video u publish. When u go next year I’ve got a spare room and yr welcome to leave yr gear there. 15 min from Lindsay’s Coopers Plains.
Good to see you back boss. I don't know if youv'e been up to Mareeba yet, but take it easy between Millaa Milla and Malanda. Roadworks at Tarzali and Kenny road haven't progressed much in the last three months, but the road itself has deteriated a lot.
It was probably time for a couple of new pillows anyway, just to keep you in good shape for the next nine months or so, great to have you back, really enjoyed the Philippine videos and tours, it is definitely a very nice part of the world and especially the people.
I really enjoyed your videos in the Philipines and it good to see your family and what it’s like over there and lastly it doesn’t always have to be about trucks.👍👍
Thanks Ken loved all your videos from home and looking forward to the next 9 months and obviously someone wanted the famous grey towel but still a pretty low act ,cheers for now mate and keep the shiny side up
Really enjoyed the videos from the Philippines. Can't believe someone stole some of your gear, except for the towel as it almost has a cult following. Those 9 months will pass in no time and you will be back home. Travel safe and look forward to more of your videos.
Welcome back to the road mate. Thanks for sharing your PI family life. Hope the tools don't rust up. Your new pillow set makes your truck bunk look like a top shelf hotel. Nice video work too Ken. Quality viewing.
Can't get any easier the flights back to work especially now seeing the awesome home life you've built with your family mate, the insight has been amazing Ken thankyou for sharing that with us. 👍 Looking forward to sharing a few more klms with you over the 9 mths mate.👍
Welcome back Ken , the ol grey towel Ay , who woulda thought anybody would want it 😂😂 think about getting a nice pink towel the bludger might leave it alone 😂
David Hunn Interesting contrast at the beginning, the luxury of the resort/hotel alongside the hovels of the locals. It's sad that nothing has changed in the Philippines for a lot of the people over the many years since I visited there. Shell Nudgee. I always pulled in there to clean the glass and get a takeaway coffee on my way up the coast when still working. Anyway, welcome back to the daily grind, Ken, I am looking forward to your upcoming videos.
Welcome back to Oz Ken! Must’ve been difficult leaving your family behind. Thanks for all the videos you shared with us while you were home. Looking forward to the next instalment of trucking videos though! Keep it on the road mate, and Happy Anniversary to you and Joy 👍🏻
