- In the grand tradition of The Lone Ranger, this classic TV Western stars Jock Mahoney in the title role and Dick Jones as his youthful partner.
THE BUCKSKIN: The Range Rider's horse is stolen by three Cavalry soldiers, but when he goes to the fort to protest, he learns that the thieves are bogus soldiers who are using Army clothes.
Jock Mahoney and Dick West were the two best stuntmen of the westerns. This show really struck gold by pairing them up. You'll see some of the best trick riding and fights tv's ever known. Producer Gene Autry really showed his genius here. BTW, Dickie Jones passed away not too many years ago. The extreme irony of his passing is that he died of complications from a fall.
Loved the short mounted sword exchange.
This is the way shows were in the early days of television. Today's shows attempt to be intense and shocking and all that ends up for the listener is that he (she) is exhausted and bored.
I love the fact you have to connect with your kids to join our team with kids on our team and our kids are going out with kids and kids will love it for you both and our family members are very proud to have kids
This episode turned into the Range Rider tossing people. Seriously, he just tossed the kid twice. Once onto the wagon and then once off the wagon. 😂

Can't imagine the Army stealing a horse. Obviously a bit of bad blood between those 2 . Hope he catches up with him & Whips him good 👍
I, for one, was quite perturbed at the silly way that Dick got his foot loose but neglected to reach out & do just what Jock did to stop the fuse. Dumb, dumb.
At 19:12 the cowboys are bound, but not gagged, unfortunately.
The escape was absolutely ridiculous. Once he got his foot out of the ropes he could've easily just moved the dynamite away from the fuse, which is exactly what he did when he got his hands underneath the pole anyway. Heck, even Dick could've done it when he got his feet loose. Pretty dumb
He was also wearing moccasins not boots. I thought all cowboys wore boots.

Dude the way thw world is going now its refreshing to see a show like this sure it may be a little cheesy and all but its still a good show better than most that junk they r making now
