Yeah I immediately added the official audio to some spotify playlists I have. I love it so much!
They already releases the studio version awhile ago due to fans request from both sides. BMTH is originally a deathcore/metalcore band. This song the style that BMTH are doing it sounds more like their "that's the spirit" album which is the album i discovered them through and in my opinion their best. Sempiternal was great too though. At this point oli's voice has gotten better with the clean vocals.
Ed actually listens to metal he listens to slipknot if I'm not wrong and he has collab with bands before be it being in the song or just helping them make it like for example ONE OK ROCK's renegades ed helped them a lot on that song (also seeing taka and ed together was freaking amazing 2 talented vocalists). Its time to bring metal/rock back to mainstream like the good old days of nu-metal when linkin park's heavier stuff was mainstream, like evanescence or even pop punk like your fall out boy, avril and paramore (as for pop punk one of the bands that kept the 2000s styles alive is state champs) and even emo like MCR (sad they reunite when covid is starting), we need to bring these back to mainstream. Bands like BMTH and falling in reverse has reached almost mainstream.
I agree with you, rock needs to make a comeback. I made it through my tough teen years, when I was being bullied nonstop, thanks to MCR and Linkin Park. Those 2 bands saved me to be completely honest. And I've always been into the goth side of things so I also grew up listening to Evanescence. So yeah, all of that should make a comeback into mainstream to diversify it a bit.
Also I didn't know Ed collabed/worked with so many people from the rock/metal side of things. That's so cool!
@@lisontherecord yea, i heard one time that ed actually listens to metal then was confirmed by few band members from different bands. Oh gosh you too? Yea i guess at this point some people who have listened to linkin park have been through bullying, i've been through it the thoughts of suicide and all that. Chester's passing impacted our lives right? It was a huge one i cried for a month listening to their song on repeat. For people like us music definitely saved our lives, now I'm 26 still living and breathing thanks to them. When you listen back to all of linkin park's song chester was definitely talking to us through music
@@Hananismail619 yeah music definitely is a huge thing for me. And same, I'm 28 now and still alive and surprisingly doing at least ok. And I have to thank Chester and Gerard (from MCR) for that. I listened to their music nonstop back then. That, together with some books, were the only things pulling me through it. When Chester passed... fuck, that was so hard for all of us who listened to his music because the people who really felt it felt it because they too went through dark times and his music spoke to us. So yeah...

Bands that does or has done warped tour now are getting big.... Well.... Some of them like BMTH and falling in reverse. Tonight alive kind of did mainstream i guess??? They did has
that good song as one of the amazing Spider-Man 2 soundtracks. Mayday parade never really reached mainstream, i know them their self titled album is one of my favourites.
Then we have a day to remember, great band kind of reach mainstream maybe i guess because they did make a song with marshmello back in 2016 i think called rescue me and luckily i was very open minded musically by then and really love when genre is fused i actually like that song.
But let me just say this before you might react to this soon or maybe you have the song MGK did with BMTH called "maybe", i did not love it nor do i like it, it has that pop punk sound which is not a problem my problem was it said featuring BMTH but has no sound that a BMTH fan can instantly know its BMTH so might as well say "featuring oli sykes" instead and to most react channel i always commented comparing the collab with ed and the collab with MGK. The one with ed has the BMTH sound and the band shines whereas the one with MGK none thats y as good as the song BMTH did with MGK i just not feeling it even if it has paramore's misery business when comes to the chorus and catchy.
@@lisontherecord also when pop songs is done in metal or rock it definitely sounds better from someone who listens a lot of that genres and also when its done right. Trust me check out the punk goes pop series its good, for example i prevail's cover of blank space which is part of the series they made it their own that was one that went viral. Or maybe check out our last night, they are known for covers and the covers are good and their originals are not that bad they are good especially their oak island album by far the best. Hahah sorry im just suggesting you bands aren't i? My bad sorry haha

@@lisontherecord 2020, and yes they released Die4U (single) last year with an EP planned by the summer I believe 👀 and then 2 more planned after that as well - they’re doing 4 EPs all under the “Post Human” title, each with their own sound/style - so this latest one was very nu-metal I’d say, with some cool electronics and heavy shit (but also catchy af). It’s got features with YungBlud, Babymetal, Nova Twins and Amy Lee (of Evanescence!).
I’m a massive Bring Me fan and I could argue that it’s in my top 2 albums/EPs of their’s 🙏🏻
