Set in the near future, Snowbreak: Containment Zone is a 3D science-fiction RPG-shooter. Powered by the Unreal 4 engine, Snowbreak offers a next-generation gaming experience cross-platform, with your progress shared across all of your devices.
The arrival of the Titans, the ""First Descent"" of 2057, took a vibrant city and left in its place the devastated wasteland of Containment Zone Aleph. Mankind's response came quickly, a select few enkindled with the spirits of the Gods, ""Manifestations"", were found and brought together as the Heimdall Force, a paramilitary raised to fight the Titans. And you are Adjutant to the force. Heavily armed, you enter the Containment Zone again and again, seeking the means to bring this bitter winter to its end...

Snowbreak's weaponry injects an element of realism into a science fiction world, offering players access to guns designed to closely simulate how firearms technology might advance in the coming thirty years. This edge of realism sits in contrast with Snowbreak's skill mechanic, an RPG-like element that brings the Containment Zone's otherworldly-ness back to the fore.

Strong as they are, the operatives of the Heimdall Force may not possess the power to defeat the Titans. The sheer scale of the foe, the crushing blows rained down from above, it takes real finesse to fell a single Titan... you must learn to fight defensively, snipe at weak points, dodge attacks no living thing could ever hope to endure... through perseverance, perhaps victory is possible... and if it is, turn up the difficulty and off you go again...

Bring together the Manifestations, put their powers to the test in combat. Train them and equip them, send out balanced squads of three on daring missions. Come to know the operatives as friends, learn about their foibles and their darknesses, their perseverance and unextinguished hope. Bond, and bear together things that none of you could ever hope to bear alone.

Cover system is a VERY BIG improvement. Brings the gameplay closer to a full shooter experience.
I can see the one huge complaint me and a lot of others had in terms of their artstyle was improved for the better so I'm fairly interested in at least trying this out now~

I'd be terrible at the cover-shooter mechanics which is a shame because this looks pretty slick.
How so? It didn't have the cover system at first and people weren't pleased. Like logically speaking who would stand when being barraged by bullets, would be understandable if it was a sword game and such since u can dodge when hit, can't see that happening with bullets. Then again that's my opinion. I might be wrong

I'm playing this on PC yes it's cross platform and lets see if my Celeron Lenovo can even handle it it does turbo to 2.6GhZ tho but the RAM is not enough soldered directly on board and 4GB
Looks cool, but since I only play on my phone... doesn't feel like it will be easy to play on mobile at all.
Somebody that played the beta said on the reddit it has controller support so that's how I'm gonna play it

Third person shooter action RPG hero collector this is like no other game already seen some clowns compare it to nikke lol. Nikke is amazing but it's an idle game with shootings. It is different in the idle genre but snowbreak isn't in the same line or same type of game and I'll play both together then an even more unique game from them both girls Frontline 2 will be the 3 waifu shooting gotcha that are completely different from one another
the only complaint I have about this game is the fact they removed the only male character there was in the game as soon as CN complained... cause apparently they prefer only waifus. What a shame, the playable male character was pretty cool and opened the possibility of future male characters as well ... disapointed

@@-x1l ya I play Arknights and NIKKE and they use the same (well nikke used to use UTC 0) but I get it being used . I just hate converting it
Yeah from where I live their July 20 10am UTC+8 is actually 7pm at July 19 since they're advanced 15 hours from where I live.

Huh? I've played a ton of games like this on mobile no problem. I wouldn't play this on keyboard and mouse even if it had a PC port. I just think it's weird to play mobile games on PC in general they're not there for a reason. Compare this to Apex Legends, it's not meant to be for other platforms just saying.

I rather have a protag like Punishing Gray Raven than this hentai harem dude, like every waifu collector you gotta have the dude. And for the comment above, it'd be better to have male characters instead of harem dude protag.

Honestly, I don't feel like the movement is snappy or anything good. Gunplay is also pretty basic. But imma still continue to play the game cuz I like the graphics and big numbers

The thing that absolutely sucks about the game is the lack of EN voice-overs during the story mode :(
The gameplay itself is great, though some missions are so short and boring, lol. The multiplayer missions with buffs are the BEST thing to play in my opinion, it's so fun running around with broken builds doing insane one-shots while having like 1/3 the bullets :D
Edit: Oh, and another horrible thing is the fact that you HAVE to be a male protagonist...why couldn't they do it like in Path to Nowhere, where you can be either male or female :( I wanna be a cute girl and engage is some yuri action :(
