She is fantastic. Thank you so much for sharing your process with us. I also struggle with the looks method especially when trying to do a 3/4 portrait. Watching you do this has just made my life way easier 🙏🏾
oh thank you so very much! I’m so glad it was helpful! Drawing should be fun and anything that can make it a little easier. Just makes it more fun.😉 i’m going to try to do more of these types of videos on my channel🙏✨☺️
@ oooh fabulous. I’ve subscribed so I won’t miss a thing 🙌🏾☺️ oh and thank you for reminding me that I own those watercolour pens and I actually need to dig them out and use them 😂😂🙏🏾💜
Susan I love it. I love it!! I think she is so beautiful and the colors are just lovely…very glowy and the hair is really nice! I enjoyed your modified Loomis approach and it’s similar to how I do the Loomis these day, too! We seem to cycle through art things in similar timing -very interesting! I hope you’re doing well, friend! I’m slowly fighting my way back to life again and am extremely grateful to the prayers of loved ones and the Holy Spirit in helping me, as well as some of my own decisions to live in a more slow and methodical way, getting enough sleep, enough time with the Lord and enough exercise!!! Life is such a tenuous balance… I enjoy your experimental videos and the portraits you create very much! So chill and fun!!🫶🏻 Talk to you soon lady!!! 🙏🏻🫶🏻❤️
Hello my dear!! Thank you so very much! Yeah, it is really funny how we cycle through the same things at the same time, so that makes it relevant every time I’m doing something if we’re on the same page! Lol.😉 Yes, life has definitely been demanding a balance lately… Glad you were able to find a productive and efficient way of doing so. It is quite a challenge to maintain I know! I hope you haven’t been sick or anything. That’s not what you meant right? Either way I’m glad you are feeling doing better and Again, graciously showing your support and taking time to write your comment, etc.… And hopefully able to take time for your art, because you deserve it and you take care of so many others!❤️ Yes, we will have to talk soon, I have an enormous amount of responsibilities and other demands going on this week, but I’m hoping around the end of the month. I can settle down a bit and give you a call and chat it up! Take care, my friend. God bless and talk to you soon!🙏🕊️✨
@ thank you friend-I pray your heavy responsibilities are going to go smoothly and life is manageable this month for you🙏🏻 and that you are able to get thorough all of it WITHOUT burning out 😌 hang in there lady🫶🏻 and I’ll be praying for you!!!❤️🫶🏻🙏🏻
@@Temmah_tjJc thank you my lovely friend! I appreciate all of the prayers and love I can get whenever I am facing some challenging expectations! It’s all necessary though! Appreciating your kindness and thoughtfulness❤️😉🙏✨🕊️
I gave up on the Loomis method I found it too scholarship for my taste as a chaotic person but after all the tips and content I have been feed up I am not sure what method I am using, I would say I prefer to see people heads as shapes instead of an 'head' which trigger me to make mistake even more. good content keep up the work!
Thank you! Yeah, I’m really not committed to this way either, and eventually I’m sure we will find our own way doing it that works for us :-) following shapes and landmarks through observation usually yields better results.…😉 I’ve watched a lot of different tutorials over the years, and one of the few that I have found helpful has been from an urban sketching guy named “sketching Scotty“ he has a couple of videos on male and female portraits and portraits in different positions.… They are pretty simplified Versions, but I found them less confusing. Keep trying!🤔☺️
