Absolutely Fantastic. I'm getting goosebumps n feeling a bit emotional watching this. The band are on fire n all back where they should be ... Onstage together, playing them amazing songs with balls n skill. The audience are going nuts too. Awesome!
@@jeffreyhart500 I dont agree mate, the reunion shows were brilliant , but the Damned are so much more than those first 2 albums, I agree There would be no Damned without Brian, and taking nothing away from him, but after Algy, I saw this line up for the first time back in 81, and there as fresh as that day
@@chatbotsforbusiness no Version 3 (Paul) without v1... Everything, bad or good, comes after the first 2 albums and the original lineup which made the band. The band would simply not have existed without him. Frankly, they haven't made anything to match the first 3, and few to have even matched Music for Pleasure.
@@jeffreyhart500Gotta respectfully disagree there. I love Brian, and he founded the band, but the best thing that happened to them was Brian leaving. MGE, TBA and SFP are their best 3 albums imho and numerous are better than DDD and MFP. They’ve been brilliant live for decades, including with Pinch and Stu. I’m just really glad that Rat can still keep up.
Saw them at No Values- awesome! Going to see them on Monday at the Glass House. Can’t wait to hear the setlist they put together as they will be headlining that gig.
Brilliant, so good to see Rat back and hear songs like History of the world, Melody Lee and Stranger on the town to name but a few ....the set and playing sound amazing, great enthusiastic crowd too. What more could you ask for!
Yep! See you there! Can't wait for the gig and finally seeing my favourite line up. So good to see Rat back on the drums, and always loved Paul's sound on that Rickenbacker bass.
Ive seen the damned a few times the best was sydney with this line up and supported by the saints in 80s but watching is great what a set list and perfect venue i wish i was this gig😊
Does not matter..how it should be!..its the damned!!..its all become to sanitised and polished of late..😮we like a bit of a fuck up over time..its the damned 😂....its a laff..but great ...strawberries tour was mental in 81..but great fun...gazz big damned fan since 77!
Great Punkrock version of Neat neat neat . I never liked the long version with the prog rock part . Fantastic Ballroom Blitz drumming 🥁🐀💣💥🔊🔊♠️☠️♠️☠️♠️☠️
Throw Roman in with his organ and you would have the best Damned line up ever! I didn't like Dr Jekyl in that key, it just doesn't compare to the original and sails close to a cabaret rendition!
the rat is back... he seems a tiny bit ahead of them on the beat when he propels them forward. Which is a compliment not a criticise of him time keeping. Great crowd - go you Yokohamoans!
Glad Rat is back but i gave up on the Damned about 8 years ago when Pinch chose whether he could be arsed to play for them or not and the local sound man played the drums instead. Manchester. Watching vids on here where they play nearly all their newest album nearly in its entirety which i add was crap. Cant risk wasting my money anymore. Must have seen them 20 times in told so not complaining and so them with Rat when Roman and Bryn were in the band. Rip Bryn Merrick
I wish I could’ve caught this tour, is that Paul Grey on bass? And how cool to have Rat on drums?? I saw the 40th anniversary tour in Montreal, on the make up show after Captain busted his leg in Toronto and they had to postpone the show for a couple of months while he recouped. And that keyboard player, what’s the deal with him? Why do they stick him right out in front? Keyboard players should be up behind the amps at the back of the stage, out of the way of the real musicians.

same here mate never thought id see this, is how them songs are supposed to be played!
They sound and look great too. Happy to see them all doing it together again
thanks for Uploading!!
The Damned, thank you for coming to Japan.
Its took over 30 years but you have just seen the real and only Damned, back to their best, brilliant
Missing Brian James to be the real Damned.

Lucky and old enough to see. 77 .and 79 line up with Brian James n algy ward. But this line up was always my favourite..❤
I saw a young guy wearing a damned tshirt in Harajuku back in the late 90s and it made me happy
Got to admit I was watching Rat like a hawk but much impressed so I am.
Oh yeah. One of the best drummers to have graced us.

キャプテン側、柱の裏、2段目の階段付近で叫んでました「らっとーーー!らっとすきゃびーずーーー!」って…めちゃ出入り激しかったけど…

They messed up Plan 9 pretty bad but hey, they recovered quickly... Love this band! 😃🎸
I pray they treat us to The Dog one of these days or, less likely, I know, but Disguise would be phenomenal 🙏

Yeah well Lu Edmonds was in the band when Problem Child was released in 77 and on the Music for Pleasure album so he counts as well 👍
