Hi Martyn, happy new year. Sad to see you have to let this go. I have been following your videos and always waiting in anticipation to see the next stage of the project. I hope the new owner can continue the project to completion to keep another c900 on the road. I hear that the number plate is up for sale, i am interested and would like to see what you are offering on this. Many thanks. Regards.
Hey, happy new year to you too! Thanks for your words. Yes, I'm sorry too that it's cine to an end. Even as I was typing the advert this evening I was part considering again tucking it away for sometime in the future, but it needs finishing now by someone who can get it across the line. Tank you for following the project, I really appreciate the interest by everyone. All the best, Martyn
A bit sad. I have been watching from afar ever since my dad, the owner in Australia sent me the link. I was enjoying the vids. Hope you continue with them. I have a car needing a rebuild behind me in my garage and I find it is far far less stressful to watch other people shell out thousands to bring cars back to life.
@@martynsboostedswedes Not at all. It was truly magical to see that car suddenly puff back into existence and it won't even really matter if it ends up on a scrap heap after, it will have still blown our minds to be alive in any form. If I'm being totally brutally honest, I was always a bit sad that the previous owner modified it from how it was from factory. I personally think it looked better all in one tone.
Good luck with the sale Martyn. Gutted for you that this one had to go and it cost that beautiful 9k in the process. Still, theres the UR and HF to keep your 'nice car' itch scratched 👍👍👍
Thank you Kent, I appreciate you following and for your kind, supportive comments all the way through from the very first video! Yes, perhaps the advert should read '900 T16 plus 400bhp 9000 Aero' for sale' as that's what this has cost me so far... 😅. Onwards, as you say, a HFT and a URS6 is a very lovely, privileged place to be in life: that's plenty consolation for me 😎. Have a great NY, mate, and all the best to you and your lovely family ❤️
@@martynsboostedswedes Thanks Martyn, we appreciate that. All the best to you guys too. I'll keep my subscription running as I'm sure there'll be other interesting stuff that will be revealed at some point in the future? Maybe 'Paul's Gift'??? 😉
Hey Martyn, thanks for your video, hopefully new owner can do some videos too and we can see her finished. I’m trying to work out a price but very difficult I must say, have you got a ‘in the region of’ price? Hopefully we will see more videos from yourself too, it’s been great watching them 👍👍👍
That would be great if the new owner could do so, how magic would that be! As for a price, £4995 feels right to me: it's had £2.5k of welding Inc the repair panels, the interior cost the previous owner £3k; the whaletail, Alloys and snow covers would sell for near to £1500 secondhand; the Abbott charge cooler and s/s system another £800; then there's the solid doors and bonnet, bronze glass, retro-fit A/C system, the body kit with the rare X4 mudflaps, about £600 of Dynamat (equivalent) etc etc etc etc. Oh, and a Carlsson steering wheel worth £275. Plus my initial purchase price. Plus all my time which one just has to accept is part of the non-recoverable journey. I feel that £4995 is sensible and gives the buyer plenty of wiggle room financially to invest into it to see it finished.
Thanks for your reply Martyn, yeah I would say your price is reasonable but when you add up all these extras which are very rare then it’s a cheap price, example the steering wheel they fetch +£400 now and impossible to get, I really hope you don’t get a buyer that’s going to break her for parts. Anyway definitely a good price hope you get the best deal for you and the car
Well done, that is one fine looking Saab. The colour combo is stunning. Happy New year from OZ.

Hi Martyn, all the best for the future. Not sure if you have considered the selling price for the number plate? Let me know. Thanks Chinh.
@@chinhchu4089 hi Chinh, yes, £475 which includes the physical pair of plates :-)

This makes me sad, too. I feel like I've let you and your old man down having thought I was saving it... 😶

Link to the ebay listing ?
When I do create the ad, yes. Or £4995 takes it away today
How do I contact you Martin regarding the parts?
They've all sold I'm afraid!
No problem, good luck with the sale. Sorry to have learnt you’re having to sell; mines almost finished and should be ready in the next few weeks.
@@philwright1480 that's fantastic news, you must be delighted! Good work 😁👍
