Jr Zendejas-Ruiz I think the only differences where factory optionals ( Japanese 180sx models had nore of them), engines since in 1991 the 180sx ditched the ca18 in favor of the sr20 and maybe something more, but I’m not sure
@@DJizz82 Well the continental 200SX was left hand drive which the 180SX wasn't, but if you compare a UK 200SX to an early 180SX there are no meaningful differences. The speedo is different (UK one is in MPH, and the continental one goes up to 240 KMH, as opposed to the JDM ones which are limited to 180 KMH), and the European Nissan dealers offered extra options that were all dealer-installed. We carried on getting the CA18 up to 1994 in Europe, then the S13 was discontinued and we got the S14, with the SR20. Early 180SXs might also have had HICAS as an option but I'm not sure.
He said they are meant for the mountains I own a 89 and was lucky enough to buy and drive it in japan for a year it feels right at home in those mountains.
The ca18de was actually available in the USA in the Nissan Pulsar. Those lights in the dash are not leds. I also had a 180sx imported from Japan that was orginally an automatic that was swapped to manual so i had that same auto buttom lol. I ended up swapping a s14 sr20det. I wish i would've kept the ca18det and modded it. Which was stupid because the car had only 19k miles. Also the car was technically sold in the usa. There's not much different about the car besides the engine and some minor options. The interior is the same, no difference in material qualities
I had a s13 hatch with type x sr20. It was my daily for 4 years. I miss it so much. After selling I test drove 3 frs’s, a genesis 2.0t and the v6 but non of them could compare to my s13 :/
Hahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa i been watching your rotary life videos alll day and when i got to the top i reload it and this video popped up saying uploaded 56 minutes ago
Actually that engine was sold here in Europe too in the 200sx (which is the European s13)
GDrift any differences from JDM 180sx vs 200sx?
GDrift not cosmetics but maybe interior options, seats, HUD ext...

They also sold the CA18DET in europe on the 200sx (european version of the 180sx)
Mini RB20, really an underappreciated motor
That was my exact thought when I popped the hood and looked at the engine!
RB with fewer cylinders.
Appreciate reviewing my car !
Funny thing: this engine dont have any blow off from factory, with a filter upgrade, it flutters like a charm
