Nice shout out to Sarah-n-Tuned. Maybe you can convince her to take a small vacation. I worry that she isn't taking care of her mental health. I know that she is a workaholic, but the Celica build I think is pushing her limits.
The care with which you execute every step and create every part from scratch! It's a work of industrial art (under that magical, invisible hood) in that engine compartment. I feel certain the car will reward you with an engine start on the first turn of the key! Aloha!
Good to see you take a break and come back revitalised. Can I suggest you tell Sarah how good a break from UA-cam world is for the soul and the outlook. BTW did I see a teaser of aviation related footage from your vacation?…
8:30 - Like to see the AMP output of the alternator once the output cable goes to ground for even a second or two. (The rugged alt. diode and regulator circuit test). Liked your wire sizing part. 👍😊
Z89A will be ok oil filter or equivalent for that Z9 if you want more room, and slightly better oil pressure (not that should be an issue) Oh you got one of those Steele brushless fans that Sarah got! Nice option!
“… handy mexican” - literally LOL, classic! Also, I’m pretty sure if you cutoff the output from the alternator (via either fuse), you’ll nuke the diodes in the alternator.
You may want to replace that steel right angle bracket on the starter post with copper, otherwise the dissimilar metals will badly oxidize and could cause problems with the connection.
Hey buddy, you’re gonna need to build a radiator shroud concert travel Hugo, the path of least resistance all those open areas around your fan is the least resistance of air travel, causing your car to overheat🤔😊👍🏽🙏🏽❤️
I know it's kinda un related but I purchased like the same kit for a falcon and was wondering if you had an idea of how to connect the rack and pinion to the steering column? Thank you, and I like seeing the progress keep it up!
I think I'd put some clamps on those radiator hoses.....and if you shorten the lower hose just a bit at the radiator, you'll lose that odd bulge in the middle of it.
You got jokes today. You need to vacation more often!
I agree!!
Sweet vide. I wish I had a shop employee. Especially one that calls me boss.
He sometimes gets mouthy

That dude with the hat is pretty handy to have around! Rides to the rescue right in the nick of time!
Always !
Loving the way you're routing all the wires and keeping them tucked, can't wait for it to fire!
Thanks for the shout out! I appreciate your content.👍

Nearly there
Much better fan mounting
Oh by the way.
SICKK THANKSSS GARY
You may want to replace that steel right angle bracket on the starter post with copper, otherwise the dissimilar metals will badly oxidize and could cause problems with the connection.
That makes a lot of sense actually, maybe a copper washer inbetween. Ez fix later on
I think you want some grommets in those radiator fan mount brackets.
Might be a good idea

Yes! Id like to do a comparison between shroud and no shroud
Why you gotta put me on blast like that Angel....LOL

Great video
Thanks!
Almost there for the 1st start, hell yea dude im jelly
Thanks bro, i wanna hear it scream!
Trim off about 3/4 inch off the rad side of the lower hose and it will fit better. Also is the rad filler on the top going to clear a hood????
I hope you drive at Musselman track. I wish Sarah will do the same with her Celica. Join up with U Wrench and Ms Vetec.
I cant wait to get it on a track!!
I know it's kinda un related but I purchased like the same kit for a falcon and was wondering if you had an idea of how to connect the rack and pinion to the steering column? Thank you, and I like seeing the progress keep it up!
I haven’t figured it out just yet! But its next on our to do lists. Im assuming a one if not 2 bearing supports
I think I'd put some clamps on those radiator hoses.....and if you shorten the lower hose just a bit at the radiator, you'll lose that odd bulge in the middle of it.
Ofcourse, didnt have clamps yet
Missed opportunity for "Why don't we starter off." **cries in pun**
THAT WOULDA BEEN SO MUCH BETTER DAMMIT
They used to make a chemical paint, brush it on rusted metal. It'd stop the rust & seal it permanent. I don't know if its still made?
You could have wired the starter the way power master suggest with full time battery connection and just ran it to the starter terminal.
Then itd be 2 wires to the starter, rather than just one. Thats the factory way, and it works pretty good 👍🏻
Shouldn’t the jumper 90°be copper? The routing looks maaaad, but I think the corrosion , is that going to be a long term issue?
Thanks! Makes sense, maybe a copper washer inbetween? Either way making a copper piece shouldnt be a prob
😎🍺👍🇦🇺
🤘🏼
no hose clamps?
Not yet
smack it ya know ya gonna wrench that girl and jack it. uhh.
🤨
You need help Sarah dress up her shop lol
