I have seen this performance live. It was amazing. I only feel sorry for the camera operator at this how,who seemed to avoid showing Josh-even when he played guitar solos,good solos. Like he was trying to pretend that there is no ,,new" guitarist in the group. Yes,there is- and he deserves a bit of trust and attention.
I stayed really really liking him after watching that hour long performance in the studio where they ran through all the songs of their album "I'm with you". The guitar parts he writes are so beautifully structured. He has a soundscapes vibe along with a very technical way of playing. He's almost a mix of Frusciante and Navarro mixed. The guitar part for "Did I let you know" is sooooo pretty.
