W V Day? I guess they mean June the 20th. Great to see all the Blenko, George. Impressive collection. I am from WV and moving back soon; can hardly wait. Haven't lived there for over 30 years. I met a booth renter who invited me to the Blenko factory/museum on her next buying trip!
I really enjoyed being on your road trip with you. One of these trips, consider stopping in OKC if you’re in that trajectory. I’m serious about giving you a free place to stay and get a home cooked meal.

George thank you for showing this woman’s amazing collection of Blenko and the treasure craft. The Blenko holds a special piece of my heart as all my family originated in West Virginia but my grandpa is the only one that ventured across to Missouri where I live. All the rest of his brothers and sisters stayed in West Virginia, and all the other ancestors from before then. ❤️
I had to chuckle when you showed the 1970's large iridescent plate. You said these sell, but in our Antique Mall, we had 3 of them stolen from 3 different vendors in a 3 month period. Very desirable in our area but not for purchase! Not funny then but I can laugh about it now. Definitely not putting another one in my booth.😂
Thanks...this has again been just fantastic...my dad's folks were Boulder people...Colorado is special...that was an amazing collection pf Blenko and Treasure Craft and mom and dad had perhaps did have one of those Blenko pieces..it was a genie type bottle with a top on it I remember...so much fun and so glad you are having finds and as always thinks for education and taking us along. My mom's dad came to Montana from Kansas when very little..so this is taking me to a state of my roots I have never been too...thank YOU. (Me too on Lahaina..just horrific.)
I am going to have to check out the good will in Green Valley didn't know they had one. Another thing CO is known for is using their tags to cover up the makers' mark on ceramics and glass, and they know we are going to peel it and look. lol Happy digging and safe travels
You picked up alot of great things thrifting in Colorado. I enjoyed that woman’s collection of Blenko, Treasure Craft and her other pieces. Thanks for sharing with us !!!!!!
LOL You were looking at the Batman popcorn bucket (9:22) but I had my eye was on the plastic avocado green and harvest gold lazy-susan on the shelf below...I think I grew up in house that had something similar. 😄 You, CLL and FPT have trained my "shelf scanning eye" (thank you for that btw), the Portmeirion Columbine vase (10:02) was enough for me to embarrassingly say out loud "PORTMEIRION!". I know, not worth a lot but the training runs deep. Thank you for the video, it was fun and educational as always.
Good evening, George! They have quite the collection of Blenko and Treasure Craft! That roadrunner piece was a good find. I have one of those desktop, clamp-on pencil sharpeners. Those were some really nice, well preserved buildings in Kansas. That 1910 portrait vase was pretty. I really liked that King Kamehameha bust. For $2.00, I wouldn't have been able to resist it. Those were some good thrift stores. The last one was really good. Thanks for the take-along!
This is John Fancypants. You just showed me a photo of that when we were at the Mid Mod show in Co Springs. LOL And now I run into this video. Thanks again for my camera lens cover. See you at the Front Range Glass Show in Loveland October 1st and 2nd.
Agreed, Brenda! We have some amazing thrift stores in and around Denver. Just stopped by the Goodwill at the beginning of the video and found a stars and bars fairy lamp! 😁
Can't believe it took so long to sell that Blenko devil. You can always stuff wrapped smalls in that snifter to save on space and help it to be packed safely.
I would have gladly doubled your money for that Heisey Orchid goblet! My mom collects it! So next time you are headed to Seattle if you want to unload any orchid, I would be interested! LOL!
Being someone who is from that area of the country, if you can ask around, perhaps at the grocery store, they can tell you who owns those independent thrift stores. If you call them they will come open up for you
I think it is so cool you went through Goodland, Kansas! One of my students after he graduated, got a job in Goodland Kansas as the high school art teacher. I’m very proud of him!
George I’ve just found your channel and I love it! I’m sure this is asked and answered, but I have to know. Did you acquire your vast knowledge of antiques and history in general from “on the job training,” or do you have a degree in history? It’s fascinating to me how much you know about just about every piece you see! Thanks for teaching us!
All the Goodwills in Colorado have closed their changing rooms because of theft and people doing drugs in them. I live on the Western Slope and it’s a pain.
Fun video George! Loved rewatching this Blenko and Treasure craft collection! So groovy! Thanks for sharing!

What fabulous pieces of glass you viewer collected.
Lots of interesting things. Red white and blue china! No no. Red china but keep political views to myself. Blah blah blah😮😅😊

@@thrifted.gems.kristen Good grabs.
Thank you so much George for taking us to places I will never be. Your knowledge is deep and vast and I have learned so much from you!
Wild George, thank you for this adventure. I like to see all of these places and see the knowledge you have. Thank you so much, sweetie.❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊
Wow that first goodwill was packed full of stuff.

If you come thru Topeka KS stop at the owls nest on Topeka Blvd.😊

We had an Art Deco Telephone building on Second Ave between 12th and 13th in Manhattan. Then Verizon bought it but I don't know who owns it now.
Love your videos. I wish the sound didn’t always sound so muffled
