Hey Jay how are you buddy. Jay why don't you do an update of your hunting clothing set for us please. Do a complete winter and fall set please. I think a lot of people would enjoy watching it.👊
This was super helpful man, as all the reviews you put together are. Almost snagged the core lightweight so this is timely. Curious to know if you have looked into the Brynje base layers? I can’t remember ever hearing you mentioning them, even in the winter gear show you recorded.
@ Episode 91 of the Backpacking Light podcast hosts the North American rep for Brynje who then details the mesh form, function and benefit of the layer. “Mesh” or “fishnet” is what the industry tends to call the design. Upon further Reddit searching I’m finding there are a few companies out there with this product design. I figured you’d be interested as well since you part of the heavy sweaters club
I have been eyeing this piece. Thanks for the review. What would be your reason for switching base layers in the winter to a thicker one? More warmth? Wouldn't it hold more of your sweat and keep you colder longer? Thanks
Because it’s colder it takes more to make you sweat so you can run a heavier base layer. Also, your active insulation layer will wick the moisture from your base layer.
How about Gala? Like material difference, durability etc by first look or any research? I’m more interested, cuz it’s the new line for hot weather. Kuiu stated that it’s for hotter weather.
Ran this piece all of August and September. Definitely my favorite hot/warm weather shirt. Great review as usual. 💪🏻
👍
Jey love your content. Please review more kuiu items.
👍
Would love to see more KUIU!
Love your reviews. I bought two of these hoodies this season and they are phenomenal. My #1 baselayer from now on
💪
Great review. I love my Kuiu gear. Would love to see you review the Origin hunt line. I’ve been thinking about trying some of their pieces
👍
Great. Thank you.

I’ll work on that.
@@MindfulHunter Thanks buddy
I love all my Kuiu clothes even though they aren’t made here in the USA. And yes the sizing is smaller because they are made in another country
👍

You make really nice and genuine reviews. Kudos to you 👍
Thanks!
Hood. I have learned to use my hat under the hood of my tibrunon sun hoodies.

Fit is a deal breaker for me on that piece so don’t care what it’s made out of.
Have you ever checked out or known anyone rocking Skre? Ya know for us tight budget types lol?
Hopefully have some on the way.
It was designed to be cooling
@@kongxiong6272 correct. It’s an early season piece.
It’s not designed to be a base layer. It’s made for hot weather.
What?!? The layer you wear next to your skin is your “base” layer. Do you wear something under this?
