We are Jon and Ray, a couple from Seattle, WA. We are full-time van lifers, traveling the US with our dog JJ, in our converted Promaster “Road Dreamer” or “Roadie” for short. We make videos about traveling to new places, what it’s like living in a van, and tips/tricks to help fellow van lifers. We hope to inspire others to try new things, alternative ways of living, and to explore the beautiful world we live in. We post new videos every Sunday. We appreciate your support on our journey!

i was there in mid june 2020. During Corona, we started the hike up to the delicate arch before the sun even came out and when we got up there it was crowded a lot more than when you guys went and that was before corona. That park was packed full by like 9am

Great videos. One thing though, never leave a dog alone in a car that has the potential to get very hot (e.g., MOAB). First, someone could simply take your dog- they will hear the AC going and know there is a dog inside- it does happen. Second, and a much bigger concern, AC units can fail. In many cars, after about an hour or so, especially in the heat, AC's can start to run warm or even blow hot air. It's definitely not worth the risk. A far better solution would be to drop him off with a friend or pay for a place that will put him up for a few hours. In MOAB there are a few places that will accommodate your dog for a few hours or all day. Even some local vet offices will gladly do this. Since dogs are not allowed in much of MOAB, there are solutions to this common need. Legally, I think Utah is sadly one of the rare states that doesn't have laws about this but regardless, you seem like great people so I'm sure you want to keep your dog safe while out having fun. Your current strategy might have worked 99 times, but it only takes one AC failure and you will have regrets. It gets real hot in MOAB.

Thank for your concern and feed back but we don’t leave the car AC running we have a roof top AC that runs on our house batteries and we have a back up fan that we also leave on in case that fails. We also have security cameras, alarm, and gps on our van so we feel like we have our bases covered and even a backup otherwise we wouldn’t leave him in the van.

Careful, that sand can burn a dogs paws in that heat. One place you walked I had to carry my dog because her paws were hurting.....

The millcreek water fall trail is fun I think we go there every year we go to Moab and it’s fun jumping off the rocks into the little pond but I just don’t really like crossing the rivers they kinda stress me out because it moves kinda fast.

Looks like fun. Rachael you need to put on some hiking boots or tennis shoes to support your feet; those flip flops will mess your feet up quickly climbing like that. Happy travels you guys.

I certainly don't see what people get out of seeing a hole in a rock. These rocks are everywhere but I would NEVER pay money to see them. I just don't get it !!

Dude I live in Moab.. you did the first part of the hike then skipped to the fork crossing for left hand and right hand and then skipped back to the beginning of the hike. Also you can still go there if you have a long vehicle you just park at the bowling alley and walk 5 min to the trailhead. When I was thirteen my friends and I would walk from across town to get to left hand. Also the swimming hole you stopped at is called left hand

You guys seem nice, but add a bit more personality and dynamism into these videos... they’re a snooze fest otherwise. Sorry for the blunt comment but there’s many vanlifers on UA-cam and if you want to make it big you need to stand out more.
