Breanna Stewart made it pretty obvious that the other two (Reese and Cameron ) she prefers because they did not come out of the gate playing great. She predicted Clark would come in and struggle and “learn the WNBA” but struggle for a while playing with the big girls. I know a good percentage of her turnovers are from missed or bumbled passes because I don't think her teammates are quite used to having someone pass the ball the way she does. If she took less risk with her passes, then she wouldn't have as many turnovers. But then, IMO, that would be like trying to tell a prime Bird or Magic to tone down their game.
ESPN used to be a somewhat respected sports media organization. Fans of players who make dirty hits and celebrate teammates doing the same should by all means vote for Reese.

I disagree You take a good player with good footwork and post abilities and they’ll get a shot off a lot easier than being double and tripled teamed. The problem is when that happens those open players need to come to the ball and not sit in the corner. One on one is much easier to overcome than getting double and triple teamed. One thing I agree with McNutt is look at the total impact the player has on winning. Chicago Sky in 2023 were 18 and 22 last year and the Fever was 13 and 27. The Sky have a brutal schedule to close out the year compared to the Fever. Using McNutt's logic, the ROTY race won't be a race by the end of the year. At seasons' end who added more victories in 2024? I think the Fever will be plus 7 or 8 games and the Sky will be plus 1-2 at best or possibly worst. Which team has the better record at the end of the year? I think the Sky will be the 8th seed and the Fever will be 6th Seed. I believe CC will be top 5 point guard in Points, Assists, rebounds, steals and blocks. Reese will lead be top 5 in rebounds. Additionally, if you add CC points plus assists per game against Fever Average offense she will be well over 40% of the total offense. Reese will be less than 30% of the Sky offense so the statistics don't lie.

There is a reason that Clark's shooting ability throws off the traditional players game and Clark is avoiding the paint, they seem to think that double teaming is is necessary thus making their defense offset. You take a good player with good footwork and post abilities and they’ll get a shot off a lot easier than being double and tripled teamed.
The problem is when that happens those open players need to come to the ball and not sit in the corner.

One thing I agree with McNutt is look at the total impact the player has on winning. Chicago Sky in 2023 were 18 and 22 last year and the Fever was 13 and 27. The Sky have a brutal schedule to close out the year compared to the Fever. Using McNutt's logic, the ROTY race won't be a race by the end of the year. At seasons' end who added more victories in 2024? I think the Fever will be plus 7 or 8 games and the Sky will be plus 1-2 at best or possibly worst. Which team has the better record at the end of the year? I think the Sky will be the 8th seed and the Fever will be 6th Seed. I believe CC will be top 5 point guard in Points, Assists, rebounds, steals and blocks. Reese will lead be top 5 in rebounds. Additionally, if you add CC points plus assists per game against Fever Average offense she will be well over 40% of the total offense. Reese will be less than 30% of the Sky offense so the statistics don't lie.

She lays it all out on the court and her numbers in the paint prove it. BUT, in terms of Basketball, the whole shabang, the game, the points, the impact per team, the STAR glitter, yes, it is CC!

Who was #1 draft pick? Who was leading scorer in college? Who has made their team better? Who has court vision and passes magically? Who is the crowd coming to see? Who actually is making a difference for people watching that never watched Wnba before? This could go on and on and the fact that the ROTY is even in question about who deserves this is ludicrous.

There is a reason that Clark's shooting ability throws off the traditional players game and Clark is avoiding the paint, they seem to think that double teaming is is necessary thus making their defense offset. This results in a weakness in their defense, they are then unable to cope with her passing ability as she passes to exploit their defense weakness.
