Her contract is not protected. That means Fever can waive her without paying for year 3. Maybe Valkyries will take her in the expansion draft. Maybe someone will take her in a trade. I think the most likely outcome is that Fever will waive her and apply the money toward hiring a good free agent.

On ESPN before the game they read something about Breanna Stewart and Alyssa Thomas and DiJonai Carrington saying they have had to put up with haters and dangerous fans but they said nothing about DiJonai Carrington and NaLyssa Smith making videos making fun of Caitlin and the eye gouge and reporters.

Since the WNBA is a predominantly homosexual organization you now have the problem of players from opposite teams becoming lovers and all the problems that will stem from that. Can you really expect a player to play full out against someone they just had sex with an hour before the game... what about some game strategy becoming a little pillow talk? Just another reason why even with CC I highly doubt the W will ever become a solvent enterprise.
No, CC shouldn't be in any part of this. Too much of someone might/will turn a lot of casuals off. Leave your audience wanting more. Leave us waiting for your glorious return the next season. The bigger the wait, the better. In the meantime, go unnoticed and get prepared for your sophomore year as a pro.
