Translation: We have dated technology but we want to charge the same exorbitant prices as our competitors.
Viking does offer a series with electronics, the professional series has kept more traditional styling.
No steam oven. Even their electronics models are vastly less complete than similarly priced Miele & Wolf. My partner loved the French door for easier access, she is quite petite, but the non self cleaning was laughable. Choosing the Miele was really a non brainer👍

I definitely prefer the direct controls over the fake dials that just move you through items on the touchscreen. Personally I think it should just have both. Like a digital camera, the analog controls should be designed to be over-ridden by the digital control. Getting service on Viking can be a nightmare. The door on mine had to be completely taken apart like an old Ferrari to just replace the gasket, stupid design.

Your dealer should be able to help you out with a local servicer that should be able to address any issues you may have with your unit! Give them a call most Viking Dealers are pretty helpful and willing to help.
