This is the coolest fridge ive ever seen.

I have 3 refrigerators, one Viking 5 series, two Samsungs. The one that keeps breaking is the Viking. It's noisy, rusts in the bottom freezing compartment where the cheap looking metal basket rolls on, beeping for no reason, and then it died yesterday. The other 2 are older, never needed any maintenance, no rust at all, zero problem.

Thanks for commenting! Depends on the age of the unit may be factor. Prior to Middleby purchasing Viking a few years back they were prone to more issues. Since they purchased Viking they have invested a large amount of money into revamping their product lines. They have since had major improvements. Thanks for commenting! Depending on the age of the unit you may also qualify for their sealed system warranty.

Is this the ref brand to go if you can’t afford Sub Zero?

no necessarily both are similar price points. Are you replacing or new construction?

@@MARSILLIOSAPPLIANCETVBBQ new construction. Sub zero is more expensive for us and is “one of the herds”.

Do not buy Viking or Sub-Zero or any of these overpriced monsters unless you want to play hell trying to get good service when you need it and being charged ridiculous prices for simple repairs. Beware

Michael, you are not completely wrong! These machines are more expensive to repair than a $1000 refrigerator, they are harder to work on because they are attached to cabinets and walls. Statistically speaking based on amount of service calls and life expectancy they rank the highest for longevity. Regardless, thanks for watching and commenting on the channel!

@@MARSILLIOSAPPLIANCETVBBQ In southern California dishonest appliance repairmen prey on the folks who have high end appliances. They see it as a cash cow. The Viking sellers and sub zero sellers are very slow in getting their repair departments to respond and so people fall prey to weird foreign type "tchnicians" it is known

Our Sub zero was installed in 2000, still going well after 24 yrs. Hoping it dies soon so we can get a new one.
