Honestly yeah, I kinda feel bad for him and I think Dante really tried to get the fans to forgive Dev for that performance because it really wasn't his fault the movie was as crap as it was. It really seemed like he was tricked into this production and by the time he was with the Fire Nation ensemble of all the Indian guys for what was clearly supposed to be a far east Asian ensemble, it was too late. He already signed the contract, he probably even did individual close up shots already so it was too late to jump ship without some SERIOUS repercussions. Same with Zach as well. Just a kid trying his best and by the time it became obvious that the production was drowning, it was too late for him to drop the role.

I really like this new Avatar family. They are all so nice and cute and funny and are doing a grate job with the series! Can't wait to see the next seasons!!!
You can tell Dallas went all out with this role and he's only going to be better in future episodes to come. His emotion and acting was so great for a complex character.
Except the one was raised in Canada and now becoming Canadian. It's basically like Guy Sebastian born in Klang but no longer being a Malaysian, he's Australian now (same thing to James Wan (director of Conjuring and Aquaman)).
Watched and was amazed how Zukos (Dallas) improvement went as the episodes go. His emotions, especially when he was facing Zhao on ep8 was great. Great acting
A lot of people seem to pick on the scream, but I thought it was actually appropriate....Zuko was angry, but he was also kind of heartbroken/devastated/ and doubting himself / questioning his whole reality, too. What else is that supposed to sound like? The cast is phenomenal. I really hope they get to do another season. And that the writing really steps-up and gives them the script they deserve.😊💖💖

Avatar was one of the things that programmed my generation and the ones after it for sure. The 90s-2000s kids had such a golden age of cartoons that inspired them. Not just cartoons but television and movies in general. We really do have a vision that wants to change the world and do something different from our predecessors.
How did I never realize Basco was American Dragon it's so obvious now :O Also, gotta say I think Liu has it more difficult cuz the OG voice of Zuko is absolutely ICONIC; that said, I think Liu looks very much the part for Zuko. I wasn't really concerned but every time that defense gets reinforced by anyone with the show it like, ticks up the worry for me.
Yall get what I mean? Like when someone explains something then you go, "okay, gotcha :) " and then they explain it again and you're like, "...yeah, I said I understood you, it's cool." and they keep going and then you're like, "Hey is something up or something, did I misunderstand?". Anyways-
Still excited. I wanna have fun with it, I hope they get to go all the way through the end of S3.
Even if I end up not enjoying it, I'm not gonna rag on any of the actors. They just seem so stoked and really love the source material so.
Their intereaction was so cool. Dante is so grate for making Dallas feel confortable not only in the conversation but about his character. He's really sweet. And Dallas is amazing. I really like this new Avatar family. They are all so nice and cute and funny and are doing a grate job with the series! Can't wait to see the next seasons!!!
You can tell Dallas went all out with this role and he's only going to be better in future episodes to come. His emotion and acting was so great for a complex character.
I'm so happy that both shows starred Filipino actors to play important roles ❤
Except the one was raised in Canada and now becoming Canadian.
It's basically like Guy Sebastian born in Klang but no longer being a Malaysian, he's Australian now (same thing to James Wan (director of Conjuring and Aquaman)).
This conversation is everything!! I love the mention of Dev, he's a great actor depsite us not really recognising the movie >
Everytime i hear dante speak, i hear rufio and then i hear zuko. Hes so iconic
And that the writing really steps-up and gives them the script they deserve.😊💖💖
honestly Zuko was the Best part of the Live action, They did a great job with what they were given.
the way that Dante actually sounds like that 24/7 is CRAZY i'd never stop talking if i sounded like Zuko irl
😂
I wonder did he use that zuko voice first when he met his wife.like I would love to hear the story behind that
I remember as a kid hearing us talking about how we want to get the world back into balance. Even long conversations back and forth on how we would do it. I remember everyone talking about how it kept them safe, inspired. I remember as kids us promising to each other to do out best to make more peace and be kinder. Knowing we can always make more friends. How Avatar grew a beautiful foundation for ourselves. It changed everything for so many struggling kids, teens. Its healing me now.
This is a legendary moment here
amen
6:08 gave me chills. The impact avatar has
Aww Man, the Generation of Restoring Balance was a deep insight I didn’t realize I needed. A nice sliver of hope in a seemingly hopeless world.
Amen!
I love how much respect they have for each other and for the source material. What a delight to see them interact.
Whenever Dante talked, I hear prince Zuko. CANT WAIT FOR THE NETFLIX ADAPTATION
I love this so much ❤ and I really like this new adaptation of ATLA. Dallas plays Zuko so well and really just the whole cast was casted perfectly. I’m excited to see the next two seasons!
Dante's voice is so iconic!!
what they say is so true, I've become a more emphatic and peaceful person thanks to this show. It really gave young people a great morale compass
it's art
Hello , Zuko Here " will always be Funny
PS : Fire Nation all the WAY!
Dante's passing down the torch. This is a historic moment.
I thought the show was absolutely solid and deserves to be seen through to the end. Please renew for Seasons 2-3 🙏🏻
love both these zukos. dante's is forever legendary and dallas' is already iconic, he managed to capture zuko's awkward/drama queen/loser persona in season 1
dante: i am honored to meet you
dallas: no. the honor is mine
ying and yang OG cast and new cast coming together in perfect balance.. I hope we get to see the whole cast talk to their characters and come back as cameos if they do a Ember Island remake lol
Avatar was one of the things that programmed my generation and the ones after it for sure. The 90s-2000s kids had such a golden age of cartoons that inspired them. Not just cartoons but television and movies in general. We really do have a vision that wants to change the world and do something different from our predecessors.
Same and I would love if they have a live action version of American Dragon and dove Cameron can definitely see her PLAY ROSE
SUCH a class act to bring up Dev. He's so talented, not his fault the script he got was...... just not good in any way.
How did I never realize Basco was American Dragon it's so obvious now :O
Also, gotta say I think Liu has it more difficult cuz the OG voice of Zuko is absolutely ICONIC; that said, I think Liu looks very much the part for Zuko. I grew up a Zuko fan-girl, was upset Zutara didn't happen, etc, so I might be a little bit biased haha.
Great to see this video! Love it
