The child predator is Mike Berago, Director of Educational Equity and Innovation and Division Leader. He has been protected by the Fenton High School Administration. He lives in Elk Grove Village.
I talked to Mr. Berago a lot as a student there. He was kind to me and helped me start a career towards IT. We have to remember these are allegations. And the investigations that have occurred in which the alleged victims were interviewed said nothing occurred between them. I’m not trying to say he is innocent or guilty. But we should wait for confirmation from investigation before persecuting someone. EDIT: After reading the police report, it’s pretty damming. While there is no confirmation of sexual activity. His patterns of behavior are too continuous and common to be ignored. And the school ignored way too many warning signs over the years.
I will tell you something Fenton Highschool counselors are full of crap I had to change my daughters school because she was getting bullied by a boy and they only made it worse.
If this were "Joe" the mechanic, he'd be in jail! You can thank the unions for this! While my next statement has nothing to do with this and you live in Bensenville - vote no for the $55 million Fenton is asking for. We're already paying of a loan for new water mains. I'm broke! Sounds like that school is crooked after learning this today.
Then stop promoting all types of deviant sexual behavior in school. Don't you realize that females are in their sexual PRIME during their teens and 20s? If you play with fire, you get burned....and sin against God in the process.

Defunding the schools won't do anything. There are a lot of special ed kids that would suffer as well. I used to teach a blind kid at school and you would have him not learn how to walk with his stick, learn braille, etc?
@@The_Gallowglass why are special ed kids less at risk for abuse through school? Hell with the savings alone from my tax bill I would happily fund a special ed school. Snd most of my friends, family and acquaintances would gladly give/support. When you pay 30-40k/yr for prop taxes snd 75% goes to a system I never used!! My kids went private. Not unusual for 75-100k prop taxes in northern IL. Teachers making 6 figs. Super makes 500+k/ yr. My district.

No much white kids in Fenton ( my son went there ) this school is horrible. Drugs , gangs wanna be , alcohol and a lot of fights. This school is a joke . We moved out of wood dale just because of this school. My kids were not safe there at all, horrible influence.

They got people who don't share the same values that move in and half of their parents don't even speak English. Suddenly they have a lockdown because kids brought a buncha guns to school. That never happened 15+ years ago.

This has been going on for many years and it was always treated like rumors. This is why rumors should be looked into.
