Hi Will, I just bought a pair of the Primus lite III and I find that their sizing is small (for Woman), and like you I find they are a bit narrow around the toe box.
Hi Will, In these ones, I found them to be very similar to the Primus Like 2 (the black ones in the video). That being said, my feet have a lot of room in the toe box, so I wouldn't notice if they were too snug. It might be worthwhile seeing if they have half sizes allowing for a wider foot? Hope this helps. And I'd love to hear how you go with it.
I took these over shale, gravel, glass and I didn't have any problems. I don't think it would be wise to deliberately go out to test how they would go on the sharpest of rocks and jump up and down on them, but for the incidental ones, these performed well when I've used them.
got a pair of these, but i run 10k 4 times a week and i personally dont really think they are good for that type of distance. granted i only did one run in them, you can feel it a bit more on your joints. 5k and under they are probably alright to use regularly. but i definately like altra's shoes more for running in comparison. these do look very sharp for daily wear though
I run 15k 3 to 4 times a week in Vivos exclusively, both road and trail. It took many months building back up to that distance after switching to minimal shoes, so you may need to dial it way back down at first. Give your feet, ankles, achilles, joints, etc time to develop strength and build up endurance gradually. Good luck!
take it slowly, though i didn't. i could run up to half marathon completely barefoot on chip n seal. i regularly run barefoot 2x a week, 15km each time. i started with vibram five fingers v-run but not enough volume for my high instep. good for short distance but pressure on top of midfoot makes my feet numb when running more than an hour
I think that might have been referencing running long distances. Day to day wear they're pretty comfortable. But running 10kms takes a while to build up to.

@@lifeofryan_ That would help only if it's not too much trouble for you.
Do you find the primus lite 3 wider in the toe box or shape is different to the previous model? I have the primus lite 1 or 2 and I find they’re too narrow around the pinkie toe. I don’t have this issue with my primus trail fg’s
What was the leather shoe called?
Gobi II
This model is never in stock in men's size 9.
Oh serious? That's annoying.. mine are a 9.5 in both of these.. can you put in a backorder? We must have an average shoe size
What if you step on a sharp rock ?
I took these over shale, gravel, glass and I didn't have any problems. I don't think it would be wise to deliberately go out to test how they would go on the sharpest of rocks and jump up and down on them, but for the incidental ones, these performed well when I've used them.
The white looks nice! Well, both of them, as I have the black. My only worry with getting the white pair is that it would surely get dirty easily.
they get very dirty.. but i did wash them in the washing machine and they came out much better.. but definatly a shoe that will easily show up dirt.
Can these go through the washing machine?
I haven't tried, but I think they would be fine.
Outsole grip in the wet is so bad it’s dangerous they need to do better for almost $300
I think that's where the trail ones would be better for those conditions...
got a pair of these, but i run 10k 4 times a week and i personally dont really think they are good for that type of distance. granted i only did one run in them, you can feel it a bit more on your joints. 5k and under they are probably alright to use regularly. but i definately like altra's shoes more for running in comparison. these do look very sharp for daily wear though
Yeh I can see that getting hard, particularly if you're always on a path or road for example.
After 2 years he's *starting to get used to them? did I hear that right?
I think that might have been referencing running long distances. Day to day wear they're pretty comfortable. But running 10kms takes a while to build up to.
You can even pull the sole out and make them extra barefoot, they’ve got a sole underneath the sole 😳
For the true barefoot experience!!! I don't mind a slight softness still though.
@@lifeofryan_ me too my friend, I only take it out when on a treadmill or something that’s very light underfoot
interesting how it uses recycled materials and but still costs as much as a shoe that doesn't use recycled materials.
I imagine to source that material is harder than just buying new off the shelf. All has to come from somewhere..
They are good but much too expensive !!
yeh they're pricey
The hype on that brand is extremely exaggerated.
Thanks for your feedback.
To buy online à show and they fit! Not in my world.
Did it work for you?
No not worth it
Thanks for the feedback JP.
feet have too many damn bones!!!! ....I know that sounds stupid...I am under the influence of Trump.
Are you a doctor or rock star?
what makes you ask that?
@@lifeofryan_ I was attempting to listen to you. But the music was the same volume if a little louder. I always wonder are they trying to tell us something or be a rock star. I would take you seriously without the terrible music and get more out of it. Thank you.
