After five years with James I’ve forgotten more about Marxism than a progressive will ever learn . The real challenge is being able to convey this knowledge in Laymans terms to the Normie. James has a gift . Let the games begin.
The other challenges are to not be pulled into the dialectic either as a reaction or critique - reaction reflects mostly underinformed action or scorn (RE:'hate') towards the movement and critique reflects an attempt to negate their claims using or building on their own theory and techniques. Both 'trap you in the wizards circle' and advance their dialectic of history as it were. This practically speaking means we need to be informed - aka internalizing Lindsay and others lectures as well as thinking about and proposing solutions - lest we are no better than postmodernists who only tear down and negate. ..Oh and not to let the socialist project live rent free in your head 😂. I think James himself has had to contend with this too, because once you start reading into it you see socialism everywhere. But remember this just as James pointed out in the video is uncomfortably close to how a concientized marxist or fabian would lens everything, in that they see opressors and opressed, aka power struggles taking place everywhere much like we Lindsayians may see woke Marxism everywhere. I think what the “noticers” mean by them being all jewish isn’t religious, but rather cultural. Jews are known for being very tight-nit, having their culture no matter where they go, so even after they drop the religion, they often carry on the parts of that culture that aren’t mutually exclusive to the religion of Judaism. For example jews tend to be very involved and supportive but not too helicoptery (thats a word) of their kids, and we know this is a huge advantage in the modern world and while the religion may have facilitated that way of parenting, it’s not exclusive to it afterwards. That’s how i see it antways, otherwise the fact that jews are so over represented in so many areas (good and bad) could only be chalked up to nepotism and being inherently evil or something.
The "individual" is an incredibly important legal concept. We do NOT need a different form of governance, just because many people today are excessively atomized. (And might benefit from voluntarily engaging in different forms of community life). I've been hearing about religious-type people, when around college age, living in apartments with others from the same religious sect, much more than in the recent past. (In many cities where everything is unaffordable). People are beginning to band together into overly close-knit groups. And influencing each other in a vacuum. Practically the only other, usual alternative now, is to remain ridiculously atomized. When going BEYOND the legal definition of an "individual," THEN it becomes a slippery notion. People are a process, always changing to an extent, shaped by communities, reliant on groups. Juxtaposing and differentiating these considerations, from the (very important) social heuristic artifact and legal concept of "individuals," which PARTLY tracks with a studiable mode of self-perception, is fairly nuanced and challenging. Pls go 'full-autism' on this subject. (Lol). And debate someone like Mary Harrington. So that I don't have to deal with this confusion, among people around me anymore. Younger people nowadays won't sufficiently grasp this nuanced point, without increased discourse and debate on the topic. They're essentially broke. And/or, nearly unfree. And their lives appear increasingly communistic.

When it comes to the notion of the proposed “workers’ paradise” in comparison to the Garden of Eden, it’s perhaps interesting to consider what the Serpent said to Adam and Eve, particularly about them being as gods themselves. I mean, what did God do early on? He created the very Garden of Eden they were inhabiting. Thus, if we are to take the Serpent seriously, anyone who was to be “as God” themselves would, naturally, be able to do the same. That is, construct a paradise by and for themselves. As such, it begins to look, at least from a Biblical perspective, like it is merely in line with the words of the Serpent, that mankind is asserted to be able to replicate God’s action of creating a paradise on Earth. As, that is, in a large part, a feature of what makes a god a God, in that regard. For if we are able to be as God, then we are also able to DO as God. Or so the Serpent might have certain of us believe, anyway. Just food for thought.🐍👂🤨🤷🏻

At the foundation of Marx's theory is that primitive people lived in family tribes without there being personal property, so there was no competition for resources. Anyone who's raised toddlers will know that that is nonsense. Toddlers have a sense of ownership of property. It's innate in the human condition. Individuals are selfish throughout their lives. If one were to define two plus two to equal three, then no matter what mathematics one constructed on top of that, one would always get wrong answers, similarly, whatever social constructions one might like to heap on top of Marx's initial erroneous assumption, it is all going to be nonsense.
I think high level advanced AI in which machines could completely take over the concept of orderly effort (labor) is the only way to make this a reality. The only effort left in that case would be in fixing the machines, but if the machines could even take over that, then we could truly have a leisure paradise. Otherwise it's just a fantasy
Even then, you still can't get past scarcity. The single greatest hubris of the communist movement is thinking they can make a kingdom of man that cannot fail and will never advance since communism is the peak end state of man.
And Gramsci was wrong in that Lenin was funded by western powers for his coup, and those same powers that funded the soviet coup, also funded the Czarist counter revolution, and pulled the rug out from under them at critical junctions. They did the same thing with the Austrian painter. Lenin had no institutions under his control until AFTER the revolution, and only AFTER an almost decade long media driven propaganda campaign against the Czar... The monarch abdicated, and the bolsheviks forced themselves into the power vacuum. They were socially engineered then forced into the new power structure. No Long March through the institutions required. Just a lot of Rockefeller and JP Morgan money (as per Sutton), and a big stick to stomp one's enemies. Also, Dr. Lindsay, calling Cultural Marxism an "antisemitic conspiracy theory", admits 1, that there is a cause/action/conspiracy, and that that conspiracy is, 2, in fact juuish in character, cause, morality, values, ends, and action (whether you choose to recognize it or not). But yes, "vote harder" and take part in an owned and occupied system... "Change it from within". Epstein, anyone? Staircase to nowhere!
Agree. I call it the negative space, or implication of the argument. Him making juuish morality and religion separate (when the actors were atheists), but I guarantee you that each member had a minimum of 13 years of religious indoctrination, lore, and world view crammed into them before their Mitzvah; and to say that it doesn't have an effect on them, or doesn't drive and inform them is very very very telling.
The basics of Cultural Marxism (or Marxism of any kind) need only be described through one word: Sophistry. So, in fact, it would be more appropriate and perfectly sufficient to merely present the definition of “Sophistry”, and one will thusly know all they need know about Marxism, by simple association.
3:07:57 "The Matrix of Domination" sounds like a caricature or something to smile at and even perhaps laugh and joke about. I see a little more seriously and I think that by laughing at it, you miss its genuine significance. To me, it is an example of a truly a Freudian Slip. James, thank you for all your hard work and dedication. I'm very grateful for clarifying so much stuff, and I can see this from a mile away now.
Thank you for making the time to do this. A challenge for you would be to do a cartoon that shows young people how theyre being brainwashed in school. As an Australian, i hear it all the time off young people about how bad our country has been, when in reality, Australia was once the envy of the world to live.(it still is comparred to most countries but it was better than it is now).
cheers.
This is a timely overview! Thank you, James.
This comes in perfect timing, I was just asking Chat GPT to explain Marxism and how it started. All I got was a very positive, short explanation on Marxism, so I'm excited to watch this. I love that you have this set up like a class.
Yup. Ai will likely be programmed with many of the same underlying presuppositions of marxists, leftists and nihilists.
Jay Dyer defines Stakeholder Capitalism as Fabian Socialism: A societal control system that is the combination of socialism, austerity control mechanisms, monopoly capitalism, and technocrats.
I would love to hear the two of you talk about this specific topic.
Thank you, Mr. Lindsey! This was incredibly helpful and informative.
Happy that James has read at least one piece by Murray Rothbard
Thank you. What a crazy convoluted subject.
This subjects complex bull-shittery is exhausting. I give these demons credit. The are relentless, this is how the masses just give up trying to understand. The masses surrender hoping the shittery will just go away.
The comments around @34:00 and onward about the conflation of Marx's "capitalism" and a Free Market, is great, would love to hear more on the debunking of Marxism simply from an economic standpoint (I do read Rothbard's stuff on the Mises site), would also be interesting to hear how much of anything Marx predicted wrt economics actually occurring today - and how much, if any, of that is operationally reflexive.
Thank you for putting together this amazing presentation. Three hours just flew by listening to it.
THOSE ADVANCED COURSES SOUND LIKE A GOOD IDEA.
Thank you James

Listening to Michael Sugrue on his break down of different Post Modern thinkers and Critical Marxist thinkers in his 90's lectures. He seems to day the same thing about these thinkers as James is now.
We need this in the shorts algorithm. This a whole college lecture lol. Thank you Dr. Lindsay.
THAT IS HOW YOU PRONOUNCE GYORGY!? I always americanized it and only heard others say it many different ways. I listen to Gyorgy Ligeti's music and always wondered. Who would have thought I'd learn it in a podcast on cultural Marxism. Thank you Mr. Lindsey!
When you are taking flak, you know you are over the target.
I guess critics of Jews have been dead on for a long time
The "individual" is an incredibly important legal concept.
Please join one of our debates online with these young marxist.
Thanks James, good as always :)
Thank you very much

Always excellent work, James.
For relaying to normies, I think it'd be very helpful to compare Mao v1 to Mao v2 (our time) and show the similarities in tactics, etc. Mao 1 had the 4 Olds, Mao 2 is same tactics but is currently being demonstrated today by . i.e. Mao1 "struggle sessions" could be compared to Mao2 "cancel culture". Etc.
Thanks for sharing your expertise for free James…Karl Marx would be proud of you!
Amazing synthesis! Can I hear a new book is coming??
James you are an absolute god. The quality and insight of your videos is fantastic. This is exactly what the masses need bc a lot of people are being fooled by the Satanic evil forces in our world.

If I may, I’ve observed videos discussing publications and facts of certain current events related to health be striked and taken down by UA-cam. I’ve not come to be aware that any of James videos have been striked down, despite his appointing to entities currently in power behind curtains. Just something to think about.
If you decide to do multiple parts can you reupload this and cut the first near 15 minutes of disjointed talking about what may or may not happen in the future?
Great !

Tolerance =/= total subjectivism. Tolerance is simply treating someone with the golden rule until they've broken a threshold. It's not treating someone based solely off judgment absent evidence. The idea of tolerance so great that it must tolerate intolerance is just good guys doing nothing type cowardice.

Gotta defend the tribe, first and foremost.

The basics of Cultural Marxism (or Marxism of any kind) need only be described through one word: Sophistry. So, in fact, it would be more appropriate and perfectly sufficient to merely present the definition of “Sophistry”, and one will thusly know all they need know about Marxism, by simple association.
Sophistry employed to acquire that which they did not earn.
@ So then, Sophistry in exactly the way pretty much every other permutation of it has been expressed over the many centuries.😉
