I call you and your squad hardcore cyclists! I feel like I am a badass cyclist, cycling downtown Toronto. I have cycled out to Scarborough Bluffs and I have cycled out to Mississauga (No Man's Land) I wanted to challenge myself to cycle to Niagara Falls but take my time and stop over Port Credit, Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton. Stay over night at each stops to taken in the burbs for my channel but I chicken out as I didn't want to get into an accident or bike trouble by myself. WOW! Look at those hills! OMG! You got a flat tire, that is my fear as I wouldn't know how to fix it! You all ride lightly, I have a back basket and 2 saddle bags, I would pack food and water. Watching to the end, now I your nickname is "Mad Man" cycling all that! 🤭Perseverance, Impressive! 💯 Congrats! 🙌
Congrats on that accomplishment. I've ridden Vancouver to Calgary 4 times. 1st 2 times with my father, the last two times with some cycling buddies. Now my father is in his 80s, and he's still riding strong. Last year, he road from Toronto to St. Catharine's and was home by 2 o'clock. He's an inspiration to me to get my fat butt on a bike again.
Hey Eric, been watching your channel since I got myself a hybrid road cycle with a flatbar just at the beginning of summer. Man you are a strong cyclist. I live in your area and hope to cycle with you one day. Be safe brother. Great content, makes me happy.
15:15 it’s cool seeing the approach from the Canadian side to the Falls , I drove twice(once in winter ❄️ , once in the springtime 🌸 ) from So Jersey…my thoughts were man I would love to ride my bike in this City😍
Interesting you took the route through Smithville. For future reference a better coffee stop is in Grimsby at either Station 1 or 416 Coffee, both on the main drag. I'm in Beamsville, and these are regular places I hit for good coffee and pastries. Further east in Jordan is RPM coffee too, which the coffee is great, the pastries are good but kinda weird.
You didn’t see us have to drop some bodies off at RPM on the way home? Lots of different routes to get down to the Falls, every club seems to do something different. Another one I did Niagara and back with did the Hairshirt route.
Greetings from just across the border in Buffalo, epic ride dude, I got those notifications on so don’t go disappointing me! 🚴 👍🏼. Classic line, how many kids you got in there that wanna go swimming 😂…
Oh as soon as I complete my 12sp DA Di2 group it will be the first thing I set up with the hood button!!!!! 😂 Unfortunately my 11sp DA mechanical is lacking the buttons.
Man you guys are hardcore. I did a 100 km ride a couple weeks ago and probably could have stretched that to 160, but 320 in a day? I don't think my legs could take it.
I've got my first century ride coming up next month. It's a group charity ride that I signed up for alone so I'm hoping to find a group that day to hop in with so I'm not alone.
I would have been walking Effingham Rd. I nearly died climbing Old Mt Albion Rd in Hamilton lol😂. Very impressive ride! I'll be doing my first 100km in a few weeks and I cannot fathom riding 322km
Pretty sure I went up Effingham Rd virtually during the Esports Canadian Champs... sucked a lot more IRL!!!!!!! Every single climb along the escarpment blows... straight up! I remember when though 100km was nuts and now that’s just minimum 😅
Best is to probably add me on Strava, find the rides and save the routes! Let me know if you have any trouble finding this one. Was near the end of August!
Rice, Furikake, Seaweed and Spam 1. Cook rice in a RICE COOKER 2. Fry spam 3. Rice + rice vinegar + furikake 4. Make 70g rice rectangles 5. Place Spam on top and wrap with seaweed 6. SMASH 200 MILES
No problem brother! Honestly no need for the latest and greatest for camera but I wouldn't go further than Hero 9 as it has the front screen. I only record in 1080 so honestly all the other resolutions don't mean much to me in the newer cameras. 100% though get a mic as it makes or breaks your videos!
My feet hurt the most and everything else was fine. No clue pre and post weight. Here’s my food consumption… 6x Spam Matsubi 2x Honey Stinger Waffles 2x Latte 1x Focaccia Pizza 1x Coke 1.5x Bags of Candy 1x Pepperoni Stick 8x bottle with inSalted hydration 4x Gatorlyte *I might be back and edit if I forgot something. Feel free to ask more questions!
My suit and all the other kit was a limited edition drop from Heavy Pedal x Gas Station Food Cyclist last year. “Eat Trash, Ride Fast” is the GSFC motto and it says ride fast on the back side of the legs. It’s my absolute #1 fav kit!
20:20 how dare a dozen people have the audacity of taking the lane and forcing a couple of entitled motorists to have to switch lanes to pass them safely? Is that what they do every time they pass a tractor, or do they only hate people who are way fitter than them?
Your gradual descent into madness is very relatable. Great ride!

Congrats. Very inspiring. Just added it to my bucket list
Let’s goooooooo!!!!!
Great ride, big KMs with a fast group! Think I've done a couple gravel rides with Olu. So nice to see familiar spots & people on YT.
Ya it hits differently when you see the places you also frequent! Thanks for watching ✌🏽

Loved it. What an epic day. What bike are you riding?
On the road I got a Chapter2 RERE
they say bikes are good for mental health but now I'm not so sure
😂😂😂
We might be crazy, but who's to say whether that is correlation or causation?
Definitely CRAZY! 🤪
Greetings from just across the border in Buffalo, epic ride dude, I got those notifications on so don’t go disappointing me! 🚴 👍🏼.

I’ve been meaning to bike across Rainbow Bridge next time I stay over in Niagara. Any routes you recommend?
I’ll message you on IG
Dolphins #1!
Congratulations
Did this one way this weekend from Toronto on a rental Trek Emonda, "just" 150k but loved it 322 is crazy 🔥
LOVE THIS!!!! 200k next time!?!?!? Then 250, 300 and at that point you might as well take it home to 322 🤪
@@DontGetDroppedCycling next time im in Toronto I'm doing it both ways, till then I'll find a 200+ ride in EU 😅

At the beginning [new to your channel] he doing 200 miles in one day solo🤯…then Squad up‼️
Yall ride good together,🫡
Ahahahah 200 miles solo would be madness. Most I’ve done solo is 200km and change so 125ish miles.
@@DontGetDroppedCycling most I’ve done SUPPORTED MS150 75km back and forth from city to shore..
Great Job!

great vid as always

Try riding in Z2 for most of it. And fuel every 45'. Drink enough water with electrolytes. You can definitely do at least 200-250 that way.
Z2 and food and you can go forever! Even easier with a squad 🤙🏽
goddddddd Dammnnn ... awesome video.. Also what was the name of that place where you got your pizza and latte ?
Pie Plate!
The question is how did your wife not kick you out at the end for disappearing for so long lol. Crazy ride man! Keep going.
Booked this one off LONG TIME AGO with my boss! My one big day a year 😅🤪
Sick ride!
One of the best of the year!!!

We need that rice cake recipe!! Awesome ride
Rice, Furikake, Seaweed and Spam
1. Cook rice in a RICE COOKER
2. Fry spam
3. Rice + rice vinegar + furikake
4. Make 70g rice rectangles
5. Place Spam on top and wrap with seaweed
6. SMASH 200 MILES
@@DontGetDroppedCyclingthanks for the recipe. Simply to make and simply to eat. Perfect for my first 100 miles
@@liammcintyre3969 super easy to make! Carbs and a little salt from the Spam, something a little different from the usual. SMASH THAT 100 MILES!! 💪🏽
What do you use to film bro? Two camera set up?
1 camera set up. GoPro Hero 9 + DJI Mic 2 🤙🏽 Sometimes some iPhone footage if I’m feeling frisky 🤪
what overlays are you using to show your data on the screen?
Telemetry Overlay ✌🏽
Bro your cam looks really good, may i know what kind of camera is that?
GoPro Hero 9 + DJI Mic 2
Recorded in 1080p and I even downsize the files encoding them to HEVC before I start to edit to save storage space.

Where did you get this bike in Toronto ?
I got this frame from Pro’s Closet but Forza Performance sells Chapter 2 in Toronto
Carla did you a solid at the end. That said, I don't know what you guys are made of. I would have died several times over.
Karla went mom mode to bring me back to life. I towed her through Milton after for a QOM at 300km 🤪
Double plus good.
✌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
Why didn't you stick to the lake???
The lake after Grimsby is literally grim until St. Cat's... boring and bumpy!!! The only upside is no climbs LMAOOOO

Some of the recipes I’ve seen are whack and they don’t even use a rice cooker 🤷🏻♂️

nice
Was Carla along for the whole ride? She's making you look real bad there at the end.
She was from Starbucks… I paid her back with a QOM down Steeles once we rose from the dead 😉
22:04 he wanted some lol
I should have bought the man one!! Nothing hits HARDER than that mid ride Coke
