Baños de Cuenca, Ecuador

One way to relax when visiting Cuenca is to spend a day relaxing at the hot springs in Baños Cuenca. The village of Baños is located about ten twisty miles to the west of Cuenca on a hill above the city. The mountains and distinct blue church of Baños provide a stunning backdrop to the best thermal baths in Cuenca. The hot springs are locally known as "aguas termales".
