    31 years and second degree murder for basically being kidnapped and self defense and used a skillet, not even a deadly weapon… that is so horrible, should of been 3rd degree or justifiable manslaughter. Bro was only 18, spent his life in jail :( I’m glad to see he still has a personality, and smiles, he’s strong and he didn’t let being in prison take his life away.

      Sure, go on acting like you know the story better than the jury that presided over the trial and heard both sides of it. Do you just believe anything people tell you? Even people with murder convictions?

      @@Elrog3first this man told that story and it’s very very believable you can tell this man wouldn’t harm anyone it was self defense you seem to believe anything anyone tells you because you really uneducated about what a jury is. jury are RANDOM people picked that have nothing to do with the situation not a bystander or witnesses that is allowed to judge if someone is guilty or not. again there wasn’t 2 sides too this story only his. this man shouldn’t have spent his inter life in prison.

      @@Elrog3jury are random people picked out that’s have no background knowledge or biases of the situation. They would know the same thing we know so it’s understandable to think he doesn’t deserve the amount of time he was given. And there cannot be another side to this if the other person involved is dead. And you realize that there are people that go to jail or prison and even the death penalty for crimes they didn’t commit. That’s because the jury and the judge don’t always get it right. That said, I don’t believe he deserved the punishment that he got.

He also decided not to call the cops and robbed the man for his belongings afterwards and used the mans car to drive home? I think this is the fake story he gave court to try to get out of what he actually did. He broke into someone's house, he then murdered them and stole their money and belongings and drove off in their vehicle. No doubt in my mind Robert meant to rob the home, I'm not sure he intended to murder the guy but I do think he broke into someone's home and tried to rob it and then the guy he was robbing pulled a gun on him after catching him mid theft and he grabbed a pan and started smacking the home owner to death. That's the story I believe and what the court most likely believed.

Unless you've really got some heavy mental issues, you don't take a life, go through a trial, and get served without carrying the shame of it. And the way he recounted it was as if he's replayed it over and over in his head. Glad he's rehabilitated.

    • @ShastaAnn
      @ShastaAnn Місяць тому +1

      He didn't have shame. He said that if he had it to do all over again, the only thing he'd change was that he'd kill the guy with the guy's gun instead of using the skillet. If you feel shame or remorse, you'd say something like, "If I could do it all over again, I would've never gotten in the car," or, "I would've hit him once and ran," or, "I would've immediately called the cops because it was self-defense and the guy pulled a gun on me, held me against my will and tried to rob me." He even said he'd still take the guy's wallet again. What shame? And even if you felt no shame because the guy may have deserved it, you'd still express regret that the whole night ever happened in the first place and that you lost 31 years of your life.

    First off, the end of my comment is a spoiler alert, so don't read until after you watch the video if you don't want the surprise spoiled. Second, Kevin, I absolutely love your videos. Whenever I have down time, yours are the first I watch. I am about 6 videos away from having seen them all. Love you man, keep up the awesome videos.
    Now, onto my first opinions. I am at the end of round 4, and I believe Robert is the one who was convicted of murder. I'm from Brooklyn, NY, and sorry but Lucky Luciano was a well known gangster, so unless he got cosmetic surgery to disguise him self as a handsome African American man, and managed to reverse the aging process, I am pretty sure this "Lucky Luciano" is an actor. John is over acting, and it looks like he would not hurt a fly. Jeniffer changed her story, and I can't swim to save my life, yet I am an avid white water rafter. So Jennifer, no one that cannot swim, will get on a boat without a life jacket, so I don't believe it's her. Finally, Laurence also seems to be over acting and trying too hard to look, well hard. We shall see. If my opinion changes, I will edit to udate it.
    ETA. Yeah, I was correct. That's rare as you always manage to keep us guessing. Can't wait for the next video!

    Robert came off genuine the whole time like he wasn’t trying to flaunt what he did. The other actors gave it away because they felt the need to go heavy in depth with action but Robert didn’t need to do that because he was just repeating his memory which was actually trauma. I ruled out the lady when she said they never found the body. No body, no murder, therefore no conviction. There's no way she would have been sentenced. Robert piqued my radar. I'm sorry to hear that he had to serve such a long sentence, but he did mess up by stealing the guy's stuff. That probably exacerbated the situation. And like he said himself, if he would have used the guy's gun on him, he would have been able to argue self defense by fighting for the gun. Thirty-one years... That's our INjustice system for you (I wrote a book on it). Anyway, I'm glad he's out and I pray he's living life to the fullest and potential employers aren't giving him a hard time for doing time. I wish him all the best on his endeavors. ❤
