It's apparent that raccoons are very sensory-driven critters. The sensations of digging in the bag, the preference of popcorn over identical flavored crunch version. The puff texture over crunchy, and finally the most unique textured Cheese balls! The sensory input of playing in water. I normally despise chewing, and other mouth sounds of humans, but it's the cutest thing with these raccoons. Crunch, crunch, sniffle!

@@cg8670 Some things I like the off brand variety more than name brand. Keebler's fudge stripe cookies were my favorite as a kid. Go for up to $4 here, and tastes worse to me than the $1.84 store brand that I found recently. I like the base cookie and the chocolate on it more, tastes more pure/raw with the store brand.

- the plate servings that are pointless since the raccoon immediately just goes for the bag
- the silence as the white text casually comes up declaring the winner
- the moments of the raccoon getting so focused on one brand he has to actively try to get it to look at the other

I just read a NATGEO article last night about a wildlife photographer in Lake Tahoe. A wild racoon came up to him, saw his bag of Cheetos, stood up on its hind feet, and started begging. Cheetos needs a new mascot. Cheetos are a delightful combination of surplus WW2 era dried GI cheese and a failed cattle feed experiment. Voila!! (History Channel.) My sister swears by JAX. It's curious he seems to prefer them straight from the bag, rather than the fancy plate. The round shape and texture of the cheese balls possibly better suited the raccoon's need to roll and wash its food.
I know there's nothing at stake here, but this is so suspenseful.
