How do you like that ecoboost? I heard those things can really move! If I'm not mistaken the f150 guys are running 14's and 13's with a tune. Pretty crazy for a full size truck. I didn't even know they put ecoboost in the SUV's.
alwaysup2late The extended warranty you spoke of is it directly through Ford or a 3rd party warranty the dealership provided? Im in the market for the same rig and have put in some thought of doing as you did in regards to getting an extended warranty. Ive heard horror stories though when it comes to those warranties unless its from the manufacture directly. Any advise?
czvasqu it was an aftermarket warranty through a third party. Those stories are all true, in that the main focus for an insurance company is to not pay out. When I make that decision I read their terms and coverage thoroughly, probably at least twice and ask a bunch of questions. Even then it took a few phone calls and whatnot to get them to cover an oil cooler as an “internally lubricated” part which is listed in the things covered by the warranty. Totally worth it in my opinion, but not to everyone I’m sure. Let me know if you need anything, (I’m not a lawyer) but do have a lot of experience dealing with these companies

Yeah I was thinking of doing the egr and oil cooler as soon as I bought one but would be nice not to have to rush into it and if they did go out it be covered. I'll be keeping in touch. cxvasqu awesome! That's exactly what I did, I didn't rush in to it because the warranties usually only cover what was on the vehicle at the time of sale. I think there is some wiggle room in that they probably do not know the difference between a head stud and a head bolt, but I usually like to stay on the safe side if I can. Glad you like the videos! alwaysup2late haha! cooked another bowl of rice today ... And a charger wanted to try after ... Passed him at I'm guessing 135 or so 😎😎 his girlfriend was sitting in the passenger seat the faces were priceless 😂😂 !! They both ducked of the highway with their tail between their legs !!
The 6.0 will make a return in the very near future 👍 I was really blown away at how nice the new Ford interior was, but not getting rid of the 7.3 or 6.0 anytime soon
I usually don't go for it, but it worked out that it was worth every penny I spent that day. Turbo, oil cooler, I also forgot about a front wheel bearing that went bad right before I changed the brakes. That gamble worked out this time lol
The warranty is a 2 year/20,000 mile deal. The Excursion had 118,000 on it when I bought it and is around 136,000 now and it will run out time-wise November 30th of this year. The best part of that specific warranty deal is that there is no limit on liability either. I've kept it "stock" this long for that exact reason, so there would be no question if anything went wrong
Is that what happens when the degas bottle cap goes bad? I read somewhere that should be tested/replaced occasionally. When it was in for the wheel bearing they replaced that cap too

alwaysup2late well played man! Keep an eye out for coolant puking out the coolant reservoir cap while you’re still under warranty too.
