Hello Everybody!! This is GamerGar and welcome to another Stardew Valley video!!
Today I'm playing 100 days of Stardew Valley but I must build the Gold clock which is worth 10 Million gold!! This was a very interesting challenge and was different to ones I completed before.

I think if you had, once the skull caverns were open, focused your wood production towards crafting more kegs rather than making tea saplings, it might have snowballed a little quicker and I reckon you would've made it. Fantastic start in spring, set up for starfruit, but yeah. I agree about ginger island. I would've used it for that rather than the bee houses. An extra couple dozen kegs earlier in the game would've put you over the line for sure.

Yes I agree 100%. I should of focused down on another tree farm for resins earlier rather than later to increase wine output. Honestly I feel like if I did the challenge again I could probably get 15 million in 100 days 😂

I'm currently playing an Ogre (Green skin purple hair ) farmer who loves honey. I plan to make a mead/wine farm with a greenhouse full of honey but after seeing this, Ginger island bee farm is totes the final goal for me thanks for the idea! :D

Definitely use your greenhouse for wine! Bee hives don't work indoors. 🙂

I think if you got the fiber seed recipe it could’ve saved you the floor 81 grind, but that’s one heck of an effort at the challenge! Great video!
This video was super entertaining! I just wanted to throw out a few tips and maybe a few suggestions for if anybody here wanted to try this from what I’ve seen on other channels and my own gameplay!
-Definitely don’t underestimate animals! Pigs and goats can definitely be a good way to go since pigs give truffles (which are affected by the botanist perk so they can be iridium quality) every day that it didn’t rain in Spring, summer, and fall and truffle oil also sells for a lot. Goats, while they produce goat milk every other day, sells for a good bit as well. Plus when you get large milk, you produce gold quality cheese. If you age that in the casks in the basement you get iridium quality cheese in just seven days. That adds up to quite a bit. Iridium quality regular cheese also sells for a good bit but I personally like to keep my cheese for skull cavern runs.
-Preserve Jars! While not as profitable as kegs in the long run, I find that the shorter time spent making jelly/jam helps me get money quick. Especially if you have an excess of crops you want to keg, putting them in the preserve jars helps boost the profit more than just selling them unprocessed.
-There’s actually a special layout that you can do with beehouses to maximize space with only one flower growing. Each Bee house has a wide radius that covers one flower so you can plant one flower and surround it with bee houses. Definitely recommend trying it out especially if you’re growing fairy roses.

I'm wondering if you did Linus' Community Clean Up quest early on and got the fiber seed recipe if it would have made a difference. It's a quest I can usually finish the day I get it, and fiber takes only seven days to grow, no watering required. This might have saved you a lot of time that you could otherwise have spent more profitably.

lol me too. when I was playing the game at the time I taught to myself how is this happening! then i realized you only need need 3 items to make summer wild seeds :D

Man, I'm over here year 3 in a new 1.6 run, just grinding out some cash for obelisks, this is beyond impressive. :)
You possibly already know, but it's much more effective if you grind out skull caverns each day, getting iridium to sell. Then with that money you buy your wood. As not only do you make money but you also get a lot more wood than what you would have chopping trees.
Hey Brandon. Yes iridium bars are totally op. Main reason I didn't go in there every day was to keep the video fresh so people didn't get bored watching footage of skull cavern runs 😀

Do you think using fibre seeds would have been worth the crop space they took up? Would have saved you time farming floor 81, but less space for crops. I’m not sure. Great video!

I think they are worth the crop space for 2 reasons:)
Easy foraging xp and all of the seeds are free :)

You were SO CLOSE! It was a great attempt. I personally doubt that doing fairy rose honey was the thing for Ginger island, I suspect star fruits would have been more profitable - although we'd have to bust out a calculator to be sure.
