Hello Everybody!! This is GamerGar and welcome to another Stardew Valley video!!
Today I'm playing 100 Days of Stardew Valley but as a Fisherman. Being a Fisherman means I can only sell fishing related items such as fish, items received in fishing treasure chests, tackles, recycled items, roe and items obtained from fish ponds.
My current goal is to make a huge cosy community where anyone can join and relax regardless of race, gender our political/religious views.
Lets aim for 100k subscribers and share the love all around the world!

Also I love the mod that makes the fish jump out of the water and you can see them swimimg. It really adds a nice touch 😊
I love these types of videos, it really shows how many ways you can play stardew valley that don't include farming, and it's good to see some tips, like fishing on all spring rain days. Also, just have to say Morris' straw face is hilarious in this mod

I have seen soooo many sdv creators talk about doing a fishing challenge. But they were concerned about how to make it interesting. You sir have accomplished that beyond anything I could have imagined. This was wonderful!!! Thank you so much for sharing 😊

The automate mod will bait and collect your fish pots. I will never not play without that mod again.
Love this video. My dad owned a fish market so I really want to do this challenge but only sell what we did (which isn't much of the in-game fish so that should be interesting!).

There actually is a mod that can automate collecting stuff like crab pots and fish ponds! It's called "Automate", it can even put bait back in the crab pots automatically so it's better to get the no junk perk!
1:00:03 This also happens in the normal game when the population grows, they jump when you pass by to get your attention.

It's the best portrait mod I've come across, they make me giggle to myself when I'm playing
Only because you asked, but ACTUALLY.. the foraging perk is VERY useful. It is OP for a few things, and then you can switch off of it. It shows you artifact locations for completing the museum. It also shows you panning spots, which if you are grinding for makes it a lot easier to get.
True, that would really help when trying to get perfection!

I've been waiting for this one for so long! 😂 I was so curious to see how you would get in with just fishing. Also, I've read that it's better to fish for catfish by Leah's house instead of Haley's because you can't find smallmouth bass in Leah's area so that means less rubbish fish, more catfish 😄

A request/idea: 100 Days as a Jewller. So make money primarily from crafting rings and try to obtain all the different rings in the game 💍📿

I agree, some stardew youtubers make it almost painfully boring to watch them fishing..not are good ol' GG though, perfect amount of editing imo..
Glad to see the straw villager mod return ✨ i kinda like fishing in Stardew valley, i find it more interesting than the fishing in games like animal crossing
As someone who loves Stardew fishing, but is dang tired of it after 800 hours... you reminded me how viable crab pots are and no one ever mentions it! This was such a fun 100 days to watch considering that it's something I never do!

I skipped around the video and the straw villagers kept me laughing. Clint being a metal straw. Watching the characters walk around.
14:00 you can download the mod that lets you pond legendary fish, and also you can download smaller fish ponds( 3x3 but in normal version it's 5x5).

Im sure this has been said but u can use the Automate mod to collect and bait crab pots as long as theyre all next to each other. U just dont get the EXP from it
I think you can change it in the settings to make it so you do get EXP, bc that's how I just got to level 10 on my most recent save lol

I might. I don't play on the farm files after day 100 so if I ever want to continue in the future it's only a matter of loading up That farm :)

fishing is one of my favorite activities in this game! i'm super excited to see this challenge, and it sounds like one i might try myself!
I love fishing too! It can be hard at the start but once you get the hang of it, it can be really fun
I had an old save file where I made a fish pond for every fish and that was the most fun I think I've ever had playing Stardew. Wished I had done the Joja route instead, but maybe I can recreate this file at some point... for anyone who wants to give this a try, I highly recommend it! ^v^

Every time you post a challenge it makes me start a new farm and do a similar one lol that legendary trophy mod is pretty cool and much better than putting them in a box like I always do! I was very surprised you didn’t sell the legend though 😂 the discovery at Willy’s was nice after the second legendary fish though!

You and I must be on the same wave length lol. I started a fish only game and what gave me the idea to do it was you making and selling all the fishing tackle on you 25% challenge.
I wonder how long it would take to marry and divorce every NPC in the game as a challenge? This is something I can picture you doing GamerGar...definitely be a fun challenge to watch.. 👍

The automate mod will let you collect crab pots and restock them with bait with just a few pathways and a chest
I've been planning to do this challenge myself but I still need to record and wanted to wait for some news about the mods, but nothing too exaggerated.
I can't stand refilling crab pots with bait so I always give up on them once I've caught everything I need from them for the fishing achievement :'). Awesome video! I love how you keep things fresh with different mods. Ever since I was young my favourite part in many video games has been fishing. I love the collecting side of it as well as the peacefulness whilst waiting for a bite! Ironically I hate fishing irl though haha.

If you are going to use mods that change game mechanics, you should just use automate for your crab pots and recyclers.

I felt if I used a mod to automate those it would of been a bit too cheaty and I would of been left with very few options on what do to each day making it harder to edit a somewhat entertaining fishing video 😆

There is a mod to automate fish pots, it's called automate there's even a patch mod for the fishing nets
yes a good few people pointed that out to me but I am saving the automate mod for another 100 day stardew valley challenge video :D

I think the community center is worth it for the friendship boost alone, plus the junimos are cute and morris is not. NGL the first time I played I didn’t even realize Joja was an option, I saw what Morris tells you but it didn’t compute and I had already unlocked and started the community center so…

I didn't want to use automate for this challenge, I thought people might think I was cheating a bit but I must get it for my normal playthroughs. It would save me a lot of time!
I'm trying something similar on Riverland farm, i can't bring myself to do Joja again though, so i have a bit more farming to do

There is, the automate mod.
There actually is a mod that can automate the collection of crab pots: the Automate mod. Brilliant mod, that one. Never play without it.
I haven't figured out how to get that to work with crab pots I put in the ocean
@@Hea-ther put a chest next to a line of them. Make sure the chest is on a tile no npc walks on. Use the U key to make sure everything is connected (those tiles will appear green). Put bait in the chest and come back the next day to collect your items.

OMG There's an altaria horse mod?? It's one of my favourite pokemon and I never get to use it because it's so bad in competitive xD

Well, stardew 1.5 is still new in mobile
And I've been doing fish related stuff in my playthrough with the beach farm
Can't use sprinkler definitely hit hard for me at first, even tho there is a decent area in the farm where we can use it
I go with fishing and mining all the time
Doesn't have big farm definitely help me in the early game, since the crops which I need to water is really not many
But yeah I have a problem with money
I was playing along and on day 28 as soon as "no lucky ring unfortunately" was said I got a lucky ring
That was really good luck (and timing lol)
