Bacolod has a regular grid pattern like an American city (its street grid was formed during the American period so that streets are named American-style: 28th St, 4th St., etc) so that if they just built those skyscrapers in the downtown area, even this early, all those buildings that have so far been built, would have clustered & formed a typical American-style skyline where the central grids has the high-rise clusters & the sorrounding areas, the low-lying residential zones. Andif you take an aerial shot, you would see the typical American regular street grids with perfect square blocks, highlighted by a high-rise downtown cluster. Hopefully, they will still build skyscrapers around the Plaza & all over the downtown area between SM & Upper East
investment from other steak holder will be much needed for a built out in the downtown areas, data, drone shots can be one factors for the eyes can see and bring with them the milkshakes and cakes to eat

Gatuslao actually reaches up to Robinsons but it is mostly narrow & cramped by shanties past 28th st. towards the Sta. Clara River then it is blocked by a fence around Robinsons. What they should do is widen it then open that blocking fence then build a continuation of Gatuslao through the back parking lot of Robinsons (between the mall & the Cyber gate under construction) then continue it towards Sta. Clara Avenue then towards the Circumferential Road. Robinsons should be happy because it will have 2 big avenues connecting it to the downtown area.

Consolation If they continue it all the way to Circumferential Road (& they should so that Lacson is not alone in handling the cityward traffic from the North, especially that Bacolod is fast developing), there will be a few houses between Sta. Clara Ave & Circumferential Road, about 5-6, but they can expropriate those as ROW for "public domain" , just like what the DPWH is doing now in extending Katipunan Extension to the Batasan Road in Quezon City, expropriating houses in the exclusive Northhill Exec Village for the benefit of the people so that Katipunan Extension could be an alternate road to Commonwealth Ave (the same way that Gatuslao can be an alternate to Lacson in Bacolod) . They should do it now while there are still few houses there & the price is not yet as expensive so they should not wait too long.
