I’m sitting here with over 100 plus channels to watch. I turn to you tube and watch this program now 47 years old! Just good fun, hilarious and wish for those days without PC!
I'm so glad that they had such good equipment to record these shows so well that it looks live today. What a great show, what a great cast, what a lot of fun. Brings back a lot of great memories
I was going to say the same thing. Very personable and he went against the celeb's 3 answers in the last game with "Password" and got it right! Smart guy!
Nancy says "I'm sorry" "I'm Lonely" "Give me a break" she may be on the worng show. This is a fun upbeat show. PLUS did anyone else notice the shots of her in a daze thinking ? If I was picking the stars I would quickly show her the road.
The key to the question was Zsa Zsa. Doesn't seem like anyone picked up on that. What about leaving her diamonds, accent, fur, or husband in the back seat?

Ummm Not! Jeans and t-shirts, boho and peasant tops. Long hair parted down the middle. The dress here and the hair was holdover from the 50's. It's that generation. I've never had a beehive and I'm 64.
That was his style, his idiom, his claim to fame, really (before M*A*S*H). You can even see that trait in his character on M*A*S*H. He was known for his insults & caustic wit. He & Robert Vaughn were actually good friends. Personally, I think he was hilarious!!

Yep. I’ve got 100 plus channels, Netflix and Disney+. Yet here I am 😂
Me too and I gave up sattlelite and Netflix due to immoral shows. I only watch UA-cam for the most part. Or Amazon. Or old movies. I miss the 70s!
It has now been 50 years as this is 2023 and here I am watching this probably again..
51 nowadays

I was sorry to see Charlie lose - I'd grown rather fond of him!
Mc lean is harious. 😂 What a fun few episodes. RiP 🙏
McLean has to be on something
I hope life treated Charlie well. Seemed like a very nice man.
Indeed
I was going to say the same thing. Very personable and he went against the celeb's 3 answers in the last game with "Password" and got it right! Smart guy!
Looks like soupy sales
Today it would be
GAS.......PRICES.
LOL
That was the first thing came to mind.
This was one of those episodes where everything kinda went off the rails and fell into hysterics.
Thanks for your support! #Pride
@@Bing_Bong60 be thankful you don't need it.
Not only is Charlene an orchid grower and gourmet cook.....she makes her own clothes! 😀😀
And styles her own wig
McLean is brilliant...
Yes! He just loves to kiss the men. So brilliant!!!
@Corky Calhoun Jesus
Omg,Betty White,your ADORABLE!😇
you're
absolutely. Love Betty
I really liked Charlie. Now probably in his 70's.
Richards Recieving The Kiss From Charlene, Was Supurb!!! And McLane's Rebuttle Perfect!!!
llove Brother brent! 💘
These poor folks didn’t know about the coming horror of the P.T. Cruiser
Seriously, that was one fugly car!
I still have mine. Best little car I ever owned.
And we bid ADIEU to Charlie Boldeux....you and your ‘do will be missed 👋👋
...the Buster Brown/Prince Valiant look
Charlene is dressed like a Walgreens waitress. If you're from that era, you know what I mean😃great show!
Candy's getup is just as bad. 70's fasion was very strange at times.
@@andytaylor5476 it looks like she's wearing the chocolate factory costume from I Love Lucy in blue
@@andytaylor5476 Candy looks like she never takes off her airline hostess uniform.
The male contestant looks like Anton Shugar from "No Country for Old Men"
DrRemulack Yes!!
A slightly younger Kevin Spacey or Javier Bardem (or maybe a mashup of the two)
Zsa zsa would have left her husband in the back seat
6200.00 was a lot of money back then
Ummm... it’s still a lot of money. 😉
Romana aranda, the average price of a full-size automobile in 1970 was $3,500, just to give you a point of reference.

The contestant is giving the best answers but stars aren't always very smart
Gene Rayburn would've been 100 years old in 2018.
Wow! I recently learned that he started as the sideman to Steve Allen. He was Steve's Ed McMahon, Johnny Carson's sidekick.
He was born in 1917
@@Wildstar40 102 in about 2 weeks..
Looks much younger
1973 hair, not me. I had to go to Vietnam. Navy had to have short hair.
Betty White has 99 candles. I hope her breath is strong.

Not that any of them will care but Methuselah was 969. 69 more than 900. An error in writing, 8-22-2021
Thank you for your service.
I want to shine my shoes on the rotating shag oval carpet super match thing... "right after these messages"...
Betty White doing a "Gumby Special" 20:23...and Happy Home Hooker..LOL
Betty does Gumby, dammit!
I love BW
Charlie looks like the kid from the Chocolate Factory all grown up. 🤭
Richard Dawson's face @ 16:56 was FRIGHTENING!
What the hell was he doing?
They say “doo-doo” because, according to Tony Randall, “you don’t say ‘sh*t’!” (cue Dick Clark falling to the floor)
When she blew blue bonnet! Wow!
Betty said witch- bag lol
Wow...Charlene is my type. Love that smile and her mannerisms. I need to find a time machine.
This. was. one of my favorite. game shows I. use to watch it all of the time. I. thought that. Gene. Rayburn. was. so. funny

So MANY women had beehives in the 70s...
The key to the question was Zsa Zsa. Doesn't seem like anyone picked up on that. What about leaving her diamonds, accent, fur, or husband in the back seat?
It looks like betty took a minute to realise that “mrs ludden” meant her. I was almost expecting her to say something like “allen’s mother’s here???”
In the last show she didn't even think of "Password".
I really thought gas crisis or shortage would be on EVERYONE'S mind, or perhaps this was taped before that happened
Why are they both dressed like they work at IHOP?

The contestant Charlene's hair looks like a mullet beehive. The hairdos in the '70s were weird.
in 35 years today's hair will look weird
Every generation sees the hair and fashion of previous ones weird. Someday they'll say the same about now.
the faces and body shapes...most of them left their asses in their other dresses
sammey2
MULLBEE??
Charlene looks like Joanne Pflug
I was thinking Adrienne Barbeau
I know your excited about that 500$ cause that’s a lot of money 😂😂
Charlie looks like soupy sails.
Betty White is a national treasure, and if I see anything with Betty White, i click on it. 😊
Wow! Checking the rate of inflation -- $5000 in 1973 = $30200 today!!!!!!!!!
Not bad for a TV show, CBS was doing ok back then.
Brett looks best I remember seeing her.
Hey wait a minute.... did Richard borrow Charles the contestants’ jacket from the previous show!?
🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
that outfit and those white shoes😨
First time I heard Gene say "first impression" and "good omen" in the Super Match. Did he start that trend earlier, though?

Poor Richard. The only one without a side gig.
Give it time. Family feud will come to him
Betty White was so hot......
This is the only week Nancy Dussault was on the show.
She's kinda hot!
Murray Melander That's a shocker! My memory is that she was a regular. I must have been watching this week in '73 lol

Gas pipe. Really a hag or nag. It died or threw up. Left her Husband. P.T.A. Blue Bonnet.

Brett Somers sucked from start to end of all seasons.
That guy in the red - looks like a serial killer…
