That’s the exact story of my older sister . She left med school to become an entrepreneur and I thank that was the best decision she ever made in her life. She chose herself for once and stop living her life to please our parents. I think that was my proudest moment of hers. She’s an excellent Leader now 😊.

I love how genuine and relaxed the conversation was. Doesn't look scripted! My best part was where she said she has a village after being asked how she juggles everything with motherhood. That hit really hard and I'm going to talk about that in my UA-cam channel. Thank you for sharing!

Flaming heck, this truly is a very talented lady to be able to leave the medical profession after all that hard studying and go on to be a success in something completely different. Not forgetting she got pregnant during this. I can't even imagine how her parents must have felt when she first told them. Those Nigerian parents don't muck about when it comes to their children's education., so I'm glad I wasn't her heart when she told them, I would have been beating so fast, I would have stopped a few times mate but would have loved to be a fly on the wall though, ha hahaha.
Its always nice to hear a successful story because so many folk get it wrong and end up leaving a good career that they later can't get back into for many reasons and end up in a downward spiral.
'Strategically positioning yourself' nice one mate, love it. I'm gonna be doing that the next time I visit Wetherspoons.
Dr Jude, have a blessed week and give the wife and kids a treat too.

    Perhaps very broad and unfair
But she has a happiness in her eyes that I don't see from NHS consultants, a thirst for life.
As a tired junior doctor I am very lost. Love medicine, hate regrets.

Same!!! I’m over it… love working with patients, absolutely Hate the environment, the bold racism in healthcare especially with management. The list goes on…they say once a Nurse, always a Nurse. BUT I no longer desire to work in healthcare. I rather work a 16 hour day into my own business, than 8-12 hours for a company.
