10 out of 10 for effort Olly and all you peeps involved. And best of luck for the big reveal tomorrow. really TEN out of TEN. really incredible effort.
If this is a trial run before the big event I would recommend using thermocouples to measure temperature, they max out at 1100°C. Good luck with the bake 🍞
I think with the rain we had last year we were alway going to be overwhelmed by slugs. I've never used as many pellets. I mulched my sunflower plants with a product called Strulch. Seems to be working.
Last autumn they ate all my brassicas. Somehow, the chard managed to overwinter. They've now lost the taste for it and won't touch it and I'm overwhelmed with rainbow chard.🤣🤣 Now they have eaten everything else. I've tried pellets, traps, nematodes and wool pellets. According to the new RSPCA ad, every animal deserves our respect. There's a singing snail in the ad, so I'm donating all my molluscs to the local RSPCA refuge.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
slugs are horrendous this year; vile vermin 😂! Another excellent video and nice to see the Lexion picture as the outro thumbnail like on your calendar!
Well Olly this is the biggest challenge ever you’ve done some things in your time but this is the biggest I’m sure Warburtons didn’t have all these problems when they started making bread Youve all put some time and effort into this project and worked some hours I bet if Paul Hollywood is watching this video he’d be very jealous I keep thinking he’ll turn up yet feeling 78% today and Olly another fantastic video ke them coming
Nooooo Another day to wait and see how it got on. That is a massive amount of effort you all.put.into it. Fair play. Hopefully its worked. If it goes cold will you be able to pull the heat tubes out of the middle. Great video as always 👍
Ooh the anticipation! Will it be Bread, will it be a Yorkshire Pudding or will it be a failed Souffle 🤔. PS: Peter Kay of course and thinking of it you could have thrown some Garlic powder in the mix. Garlic Bread! It's the Future. 🤣🤣.
Olly the heat your putting through that metal did u not think that straw will ignite + sparks embers can travel through the air and could start a fire in your main straw stack.
Well done guys. Was Martin too knackered after the all day stint or has he gone home - I’m guessing the latter as their was no Tony Hall birthday. You all deserve to put your feet up with a nice piece of toast. Know anyone with a load to spare?
Hi Olly Called in and dropped off the UJ for the John Deere mower, it should be fine. I gave it to Rob. Great team effort with the bread making, you all looked knackered at 8pm let alone 1:30 am 😊 Well done lads...

Olly please 🙏 we need you as the new prim minister 🙏
Slugs are terrible this year, eating everything in the garden, sunflowers, artichokes, runner beans, tomatoes, even eating potato tops !!!
I’ve found sheep’s wool helps deter them 👍🇬🇬

Jeys fluid is also very good In the garden for the slugs.

How about drilling 2 or 3 holes in the side of the container & baking tin to allow a soil sampler to take a sample of the bread?
Fingers crossed that the bread works. Just worrying that it sinks as it cools.
Great video Olly it’s got to have worked all the effort you all have put in 👍👍
Fair play to you all for trying - I would love to know what your Dad is really thinking as he walked around watching. Tiredness Factor 12.
A new way for day the wet bales
A great video Olly, did you have a nice smell of bread in the air🥖.
You boys are just bonkers!
Ooh the anticipation! Will it be Bread, will it be a Yorkshire Pudding or will it be a failed Souffle 🤔. PS: Peter Kay of course and thinking of it you could have thrown some Garlic powder in the mix. Garlic Bread! It's the Future. 🤣🤣.

Seven out of ten for tiredness.
I would give you a 4 on the knackered scale. Green is one of the worst colours for fadeing. Your loaf really over shadows my 1200g weekly batch.
