This channel is a hidden gem. Please keep the videos coming. I've watched a couple of them as they keep popping on my feed and as i watch them, they keep getting more and more interesting. The only time I've been 'taught' French was back in high school about 10 years ago and I wasn't even trying to learn back then. I don't know what just happened but somehow, through these videos, you subconsciously motivated me to at least try and learn some French and so far I love it! I've actually already started learning the language and although I don't plan to go to a language school any time soon, I can see a small progress every day. I can look at a sentence and basically start to understand the meaning behind it. So that's a start. As for the way I'm learning... its all over the place. I've basically compiled a list of podcasts to put in the background and kinda train my brain to find the patterns. I am also going to watch movies and play video games in Full French as those will help me connect words to image and form stronger memories, and finally, i will be trying some online courses to help me fix any grammar mistakes i may pick up. Hopefully, if one day i get fluent enough, i may also try getting into the book reading business. All in all, I am having a lot of fun learning French and watching your videos. I just wish i had more free time in my hands. Merci beaucoup Virginie!
You speak English and French greatly, fabulous, magnifique. French and english share a lot of words. French helped a lot learn English. I should subscribe, merci
I was actually looking for Adobe Encore app tutorial and clicked on your video by mistake. But a happy mistake. I did not know I was using the word encore the wrong way; yes I'm an American. Thank you for teaching me the correct way to use the word encore. Au revoir!
these lessons provide insight and valuable resources for expressing oneself in french in very practical ways. where else could one learn how to say "Ne va pas dans mon bureau, c’est un bordel total". I would have never learned that in any traditional course but, incredibly, I was in a situation where that is exactly what I wanted to express. Les mots coulaient de mes lèvres!!!
At the stage I'm at on duolingo they are using 'Encore 'to translate as 'Then ' like 'puis' its confusing enough on here that it has three meanings and not one is ' Then ' can someone shed some clarity on this please ?
As with the chanson by Céline Dion, L’amour exist encore which means love still exists. By the way I’m learning much more with ur videos and I thank u. I’ve been learning to sing in French thru Celine, Garou, Johnny Halliday, Veronique De Caire, Laura Fabien, and a few others. I may end up with Canadian slang. Lol
How about "encore un fois'? I "learned" this from the Sash song, and I often use it to ask for another beer, or round of drinks. French people always seem to understand - but now I wonder if it is utterly incorrect usage?

So when you want encore to mean again, how do you know whether to say encore, encore une fois or à nouveau ?
Gostei do canal, já me inscrevi! Merci
merci beaucoup Virginie!!
De rien :-)
What is the best way to translate the lyric "Encore un effort et ça ira"?
One more push and you'll be (or it will be) fine
merci beaucoup :)
the one dislike was *insert country that historically hated the French*
Encore un coup de génie …!!!

encore une fois = one more time / once again
@@onatineringlou2787 thankyou for the clarification. Seems appropriate for my purposes, then. Plus, I enjoy the reminder of the song 😀
Thanks
merci
