Im a foreigner living in South Africa.i am so grateful for the assistance that I have received from the nurses doctors and everyone in the health sector.i thank God because if I had tried to go back home to give birth i was going to die because of the way nurses treat ppl back home.i had complications and the Zulu nurse ended up praying for me seeing that I was about to be brain dead .i will forever be grateful to God for placing me in such a country with beautiful ppl with beautiful hearts.i love you all south Africans.Aftee giving birth when I arrived home i found some elderly South African ladies waiting for me
They welcomed my child with prayers and helped me for three months ie in the morning they make sure you bath and that the baby is well.i thank you all . Now my daughter is thirteen and I sent her back home last week.i thank you South Africans
Your comment is beautiful and congratulations on your baby❤. I just wish you hadn't been so...super grateful to 'South Africans' for treating you kindly. It should be a standard to treat people with kindness and grace, even if they are foreigners in our country. As a South African myself, it truly pains my heart to see how badly our neighboring brothers and sisters are treated. It's almost like you have to BEG South Africans to treat you with a shred of humanity and then thank them profusely when they do 🙄😒. It's a real disgrace to be South African sometimes. Honestly 😪
You story is not storying. If you had.a.medical aid with Bonitas, why were you going to a plublic clinic? 2. South African Public clinics and hospitals are way overcrowded, nurse and doctor ratio us way out of control. The reason for that is SA has too many Illegal immigrants, that are flooding the Healthcare system, unfortunately the budget is planned according to known citizens. So the reality i s most illegal immigrants use the public Healthcare. Medical stuff are not coping with volumes, they are overwhelmed. All the "haves" in SA use pinlic Healthcare and its not overcrowded like public. Please tell all your fellow countrymen in SA with medial aids to use provate Healthcare.
Hateful propaganda from Xenophobic South Africans once again. You truly give us a bad name. Please get educated and HEAL from this hatred. You act as if you made a census of the nationality of patients in our hospitals. You made a blanket statement at that without mentioning the city or province you're referring to. Nevermind foreigners are still MINORITIES in the country. Ungazogula la!
Nice vid and balanced. The UK includes the health surcharge in the visa. It's so expensive and the UK government has even increased the amount to raise funds for the NHS. Public hospitals are free for citizens and SADC members in SA. SA doesn't have as many medical staff as the UK and has many more births then the UK (citizens as well as a lot of SADC members.) It would be different in private.
Health care is not free in the U K everybody pays NHI which us deducted from your salary with u its taken from your husband's salary so u can go to any hospital with your NHI card so its like everyone gets private hospital care Tell us about Camerroon you are talking about South african public hospital We know UK hospitals we have been there my dear
You are talking facts. It’s a bit uncomfortable for us to hear about our country’s health service. There is a need to improve. If all SA’s had a chance and money to pay for private healthcare, they would because unfortunately the nursing staff can be unfriendly in SOME public health facilities. Not sure why🤷♀️🤷♀️. Given birth in UK is best, they care for children. As for you when you sick, it’s a different story. You still have to get to know the health system as you go on in the UK, the system is also overloaded and yull often need to wait for long to receive support.
